En las ciudades los artistas urbanos suelen usar trozos de pared para mostrar su obra.
El domingo dando una vuelta por la plaza "del pilar" me encontre con esta obra de arte.
In cities, urban artists often use pieces of wall to show their work.
On Sunday walking around the square Del Pilar" I found this work of art.
Wood Duck. Best Viewed Large On Black Their breeding habitat is wooded swamps, shallow lakes, marshes or ponds in eastern North America, the west coast of the United States and western Mexico. They usually nest in cavities in trees close to water, although they will take advantage of nesting boxes in wetland locations if available. The wood duck tends to fly for prolonged periods of time after reproducing. Their personality is shy and skittish. IMG_4347
Mosaic art in an alleyway behind the Magic Gardens in Philadelphia. I'm not sure if this was done by the Philly mosaic artist Isiah Zagar himself, but I'm sure he had a hand in this.
Experimenting with a different post processing style as well.

I used two elements to create this.
We recently had new windows installed and hadn't replaced the blinds or curtains yet. I noticed that after dark a light on a building across the way caused the pebbled, frosted window in the bathroom to sparkle. It also had some silhouettes of tree branches on it. So I took several photos and used one for my background, turned sideways, & cloned the sparkly parts to hide the tree silhouettes.
I was playing with a new app on my iPad called Flame Painter. I used one of the abstract images I created as an overlay over the window photo. It has a black background which hides much of the window, but leaves a hint of the sparkly effect.

I've mentioned this a few times before, but art is helping me get through this terrible season. I have my faith and hope for better days, but witnessing joy and passion for creativity feels tangible. So, I revisited these photos tonight after doom scrolling, and they lifted my spirits.
