Designed by renowned modernist architect Lawrence Abbott, this collection of 32 award winning apartments were built by the Apex Society, founded in 1965, to provide affordable housing in Greater London and the Home Counties.
The apartments were sold off under a scheme that allowed the occupants to purchase 45 percent of their property, and each applicant had to be accepted onto the scheme under strict qualifying guidelines. By 1981, the rules were relaxed and people were allowed to buy their properties outright and sell them on as they wished.
The development is made up of eight blocks, each containing four apartments. They were originally known as ‘the upside down houses’, as they incorporated an upstairs kitchen and a downstairs sitting room.
These unusual properties were built from grey brick and white mortar which contains sparkly quartz. Each block is a square, divided by a flattened S shaped wall which produces an interesting internal curved wall for each apartment, ending with a curved window where it meets the outside wall. The guttering is hidden within the fabric of the walls.

Cruiseship Celebrity Apex made its maiden call at Cruise Port Amsterdam at saturday may 14. It is the 2nd ship of the Edge-class of Celebrity Cruises. Tghe ship was delivered in may 2020.

Originating from the Titanfall series, the Wingman is a double-action revolver Legends can loot in King's Canyon in Apex Legends.
The LEGO Wingman was built in both the default pickup and the rare "fully kitted" version which has Skullpiercer Rifling, high-capacity cylinder, and a variable zoom holosight equipped.
Features a moving trigger, moving hammer, and working reload function: expanding the top rail moves the bottom rail and unlocks the cylinder for removal.
