I decided to freshen up my photosteam by revisiting the thousands of discarded pics I have taken.
Whilst this shot isn't great, I realised by collection of wild peregrine shots, could be similarly described.

Many thanks as always to all those kind enough to comment on and fave my photos. It is very much appreciated and welcome.

I usually prefer my subjects alive and kicking but I couldn't pass up the opportunity to do a close up stack of this expired dragonfly I found in a spiders web in our gazebo eves.
I must say I was struck with how vicious its needle like hairs around it's mouth look, also imagining how terrifying the species in the Late Carboniferous period looked when they grew to over two feet from wing tip to wing tip...😬
I almost missed this one it was right in the apex of a curve, hidden by undergrowth. I promptly turned around and proceeded to tresspass. (made explore)

SHIPtember 2015! This is my first SHIP. I'll do a better edit after I'm back from BrickCon. I am so happy that I made it, even though it took the entire 30 days :D
Thanks for all the feedback you have given me over the past month! I would not have been able to do this without that!

Gotta see this one full size.
You can see some of this wall's colorful history at Graffiti Archaeology. Follow that link, and click on "harveys/north" to see what it has looked like over the last seven years. You can really see how Apex, Neon, and the rest of the BA crew have evolved over time.

Model: actor/magician/wolf activist Steve Wastell with 3 wolf-pups.
These pups were 3 weeks old when Steve and his wife rescued them and their mom from an illegal backyard breader. Here they are 8 weeks old and a total handful.
The title refers to predators at the top of the food chain. I wanted this shot to be a combo of cute/scary :)
This 3-year old Mountain Lion was found as a young cub, apparently abandoned and starving to death. Because he imprinted on humans at a young age and never learned the hunting skills necessary to survive in the wild, he is a permanent resident at the Sonoran Desert Museum in Tucson. There was no glass or fencing separating us, and when he looked me in the eye, I felt the small hairs on my neck move. What an amazing creature.
This Snapping Turtle's carapace was about 12 to 14 inches in diameter.
They're only considered an apex predator when they make it to adulthood. The Snapping Turtle's eggs and hatchlings are vulnerable to many predators.

Featured in this vertical panorama is Sheikh Khalifa Bin Zayed Road, stretching from the World Trade Center roundabout towards Bur Juman shopping mall, all the way to the Dubai Creek. I've never photographed this road before and certainly not with a monster camera like Canon 5Ds. You're looking at 7, horizontally oriented photos, stitched on top of each other. Total resolution of this panorama exceeds 311 megapixels. How's the detail of this ultra-crisp shot? I'll make a separate post soon.
