Team Redstone hosted a Proclamation Signing Ceremony where the mayors of Huntsville and Madison and the Madison County Commissioner “proclaimed” the week as Armed Forces Celebration Week in honor of Redstone Arsenal’s 75th Anniversary Friday June 24, 2016 at AMC parade field. The event included music by the AMC Band, a parachute demonstration by the Silver Wings Jump Team, and reading of the proclamation by Civilian Aide to the Secretary of the Army Joe Fitzgerald. Following the Proclamation Signing, four community leaders were named as 2016 Team Redstone Good Neighbors for their contributions in support of the installation and its workforce.

The AMC Concord was a compact car made by the American Motors Corporation (AMC) starting with model year 1978 and continuing to 1983. The Concord was intended to replace not only the similar AMC Hornet, but to some extent the aging mid-size AMC Matador that would be discontinued after 1978 in a market moving to downsized automobiles. Offered in four-door sedan, two-door coupé (through 1982), three-door hatchback (through 1979) and four-door station wagon forms, AMC sought to give its, by this time venerable, compact car an image of luxury, class, and value. The Concord was AMC's volume seller from the time it appeared.
