A Minolta Freedom Tele with a Leica badge. This is not a zoom compact, it is a dual lens camera, 35 or 80 mm. The apertures are quite decent, but the camera has no Leica genes, except for the type of lettering. It is almost 25 years old and it feels it. The viewfinder is not great, although putting the traditional leds inside it is a nice touch. The noise from the motor and AF system is a bit creepy and loud.
People say that the lens is quite good, perhaps one of these days I'll try it out.

The red haired goddess was tall, thin, fit, pretty, and gorgeous! Her long curly/wavy red hair blowing on the spring sea breeze! Standing in a Malibu Sea Cave on El Matador Beach (under the bull's hind legs)! Pretty brown eyes and long, long, longest legs!

This rather bland plastic Konica is one of the most important cameras ever and one that changed photography forever. This was the world's first auto focus production camera, no mean feat! After this Konica, people were finally free to take pictures in full auto mode, no exposure to worry about or focusing. This was a big deal back in 1977. It took Canon 18 months to come up with something similar.
37 years have passed and this Konica is really spartan, the AF is basic, not very precise ans exposure is limited to 3 speeds (60, 125 and 250). This unit was seized, but it is slowly getting back to life. Curiously, the shutter takes ages to fire after the AF system has done its job. There is no exposures info, just a red light. Around the lens there is a scale that shows were the AF has focused. Nice thought, since one could confirm the AF before taking the shot, trouble is, it wasn't cancelable!
It is easy now to find this Konica primitive and unrefined, but it was really a breakthrough for photography and especial for the amateur photographer.
Now here's a story. I recently took my 20 year old Mercedes E Class for it's annual service and MOT and as I drove away from the house the car's acceleration felt odd. The garage who service the car said they couldn't find the cause of the problem as 'the car is too old for our diagnostic gear'!!! They recommended that I took the car to AF Tuning. When I arrived I found a garage that looked very 1960s but it had other Mercedes, Porsches and even an E Type in for attention. AT Tuning fixed the problem and allowed me to photograph the place at the same time. Amongst all the repair gear were computers being used to diagnose faults. They are able to tackle all sorts of models and problems. I recommend them.

At least an interesting Samsung camera (sort of). This AF Slim has its eyes set on the Konica Big Mini or A4. The design is cool for a Samsung, but subdued, it carries a yellow sticker saying "Good Design", just in case you missed.
It is a compact camera, but not small as the Olympus Mju:II. still, it offers some nice specs, like the auto macro-mode, the camera automatically detects close by subjects and switchs to macro mode, focusing from .35 cm (I think). There are all the normal flash option, plus a B setting. There is also a continuous shooting mode, 2 self-timer modes and an intervalometer 60 min and 30 min. Nice classy touch is a dedicated function for rewinding the film, no pen tip here needed.
I wish I knew more about the lens or shutter, but I couldn't find any information about this little camera

Located on the shore, of Skeppsholmen, next to the Admiralty House, the ship was built in the UK in 1888 and originally known as Dunboyne. On its arrival to Sweden in 1915 it was renamed G D Kennedy and when the Navy bought it in 1923 it was given its present name in honor of the shipbuilder and Vice Admiral Fredrik Henrik af Chapman (1721–1808). The Navy used it as a training ship and as such it made several trips around the world before serving as a barracks during WW2.
af Chapman (döpt Dunboyne, tidigare även G. D. Kennedy) är en stålfullriggare om 1 500 bruttoton som byggdes 1888 i Whitehaven, England, och sedan 1949 är ett vandrarhem och känt landmärke vid Skeppsholmen i Stockholm.
