It rained so much on Friday that it was flooding. And then when the rain stopped, high winds came through. They were so strong, they blew someones trash cart into the middle of my neighbor’s yard. The camera originally used 116 size film, which they don't make anymore. I have instead used 120 film, which is only slightly less in width than 116.

This photo was taken with my eleventh camera. I picked it up at an estate auction.

This is an image from a roll of found film I got when I bought a camera from one of the downtown antique stores. I don't know when the pictures were taken, but they look to be from the 1970s. On another one of the negatives, the name "Dutch Wonderland" and "Lancaster, Pennsylvania" can be clearly seen. I looked it up and it's a theme park that was opened in 1963 and is still open, and is located just east of Lancaster, Pennsylvania. The pictures are situated on the negatives in such a way that the film spooled from up and down, not left and right.

Developing chemicals:

Presoak in 20°C/68.0°F water

Adox Adonal 1+50 (500ml water, 2 tsp. Adox Adonal) for 15 minutes at 20°C/68.0°F

15 second initial agitation, then 5 second gentle (wine glass swirl) agitation each minute

2 minutes water rinse

Ilford lfostop, 30 second agitation, 30 second stand

2 minutes water rinse

Ilford Hypam Fixer, 8 minutes, 5 second gentle agitation each minute

2 minutes rinse in water

About as close to a straight scan you can get with print film. Only adjusted exposure, set black and white points and applied unsharp mask to get rid of scanner softness.

My first attempt at stand development in Rodinal turned out quite flat. I guess slightly increasing the agitation took better care of the highlights to yield very nice looking contrast on the negs.

We went for a brisk walk around the neighborhood on a freezing and sunny Saturday, with a plan to take a few pictures, and go home quickly. Needless to say, the plan failed spectacularly, with the track time being a few hours, and "a few pictures" transformed into the whole roll of film. The development of this bad, but beautiful, boy was...challenging. Particularly the "loading the film onto the reel" part. But I'd say it was worth it. I'm loving the contrast and the grain.

I captured this image during a roadtrip in 2023 when we where doing a six month long journey from the southern tip of Norway to the northern one. We've made it to the Central Norwa, and had found a nice parkup without cell service. Hadn't done so much photography at this point so I was craving to shoot some frames. I found this section that caught my eye along the creek where we where parked.
