2nd test, cranked up the ISO to 1600. The result was really good comparing to my earlier shots with the a77M1 with ISO 1250.
San Diego Zoo - San Diego, California - Valerio the jaguar was born at the San Diego Zoo on 3/12/15 to Nindiri and Guapo.
He has two older siblings:
(1) Tikal, born on 4/26/12, lives at the Sacramento Zoo in Sacramento, California
(2) Maderas, born on 4/26/12, lives at the Alexandria Zoo in Alexandria, Louisiana
Makini was born at the Tulsa Zoo on 3/24/09 and moved to the Philadelphia Zoo on 12/16/11. His mate, Tajiri, gave birth to their first litter of cubs on 6/25/14 and 6/26/14. He is pictured here with one of his four cubs.
The Bowman and The Spearman, also known as Indians,[1] are two bronze equestrian sculptures standing as gatekeepers in Congress Plaza, at the intersection of Congress Drive and Michigan Avenue in Grant Park, Chicago, United States. The sculptures were made in Zagreb by Croatian sculptor Ivan Meštrović and installed at the entrance of the parkway in 1928. Tajiri the African lioness at the Philadelphia Zoo. She was born at the Racine Zoo in Wisconsin on 3/16/10 and came to the Philadelphia Zoo on 1/25/12. She gave birth to her first litter of cubs with her mate Makini on 6/25/14 and 6/26/14.
Los Angeles Zoo - Los Angeles, California - C.J. (short for Castro Jr.) is a Sumatran tiger who was born at the Sacramento Zoo in Sacramento, California on 3/3/13 to Bahagia (Mom) and Castro (Dad) and moved to the Los Angeles Zoo in October 2014. He is the last offspring of Baha (who died on 2/10/16) and Castro (who died on 10/29/14).
He has four older siblings:
(1) Kipling, born on 11/24/06, lives at the Dallas Zoo in Dallas, Texas
(2) Emerson, born on 11/24/06, lives at Zoo Atlanta in Atlanta, Georgia
(3) Taymor (a.k.a. "Larry"), born on 11/24/06, lives at the San Francisco Zoo in San Francisco, California
(4) Jingga, born on 3/18/10, lives at the Topeka Zoo in Topeka, Kansas

San Diego Zoo Safari Park - Escondido, California - A tender moment between Oshana and one of her four African lion cubs (Ernest, Evelyn, Marion and Miss Ellen) born on 6/22/14 at the San Diego Zoo Safari Park.
Philadelphia Zoo - Philadelphia, Pennsylvania - Kavan is a male Amur leopard who was born at the Cheyenne Mountain Zoo in Colorado Springs, Colorado on 4/3/01. He lived at the Franklin Park Zoo in Boston, Massachusetts from 6/11/02 until he moved to his current home at the Philadelphia Zoo on 7/31/12.

Brookfield Zoo - Brookfield, Illinois - Nora, a female Western Lowland Gorilla, was born at the Brookfield Zoo on November 4, 2013 to Koola (Mom) and JoJo (Dad).
Exotic Feline Breeding Compound - Rosamond, California - Nacon the jaguar was born at the Audubon Zoo in New Orleans, Louisiana on 5/20/02 and moved to EFBC on 7/24/03.
Nacon has fathered seven cubs with his partner, Annie. Two of his cubs, Rosa and Poncho (both born on 6/3/05), continue to reside at EFBC.
This photo was taken during the April 2016 Twilight Tour when visitors (age 18 and over) are allowed to explore areas of EFBC that are not normally open to the public. Nacon resides in one of the normally non-public areas. He is seen here enjoying a watermelon that was given to him as part of the evening's animal enrichment activities.
