Brookfield Zoo - Brookfield, Illinois - Max is a male Amur Tiger who was born at the Pittsburgh Zoo in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania on 9/12/10 to Taiga (Dad) and Toma (Mom). He moved to the Brookfield Zoo on 12/18/12.
Izu was born in the wild on or about 10/15/03 and moved from Bester Birds and Animals in Lynnwood Ridge, South Africa to his current home at the San Diego Zoo Safari Park in Escondido, California on May 20, 2004.
Los Angeles Zoo - Bajen (a Russian boy's name meaning "long-awaited") the snow leopard was born at the Rosamond Gifford Zoo At Burnet Park in Syracuse, New York on 6/14/12 to Zena (Mom) and Senge (Dad). He moved to the Los Angeles Zoo on 9/30/14.
Bajen is the father of two cubs with his mate, Malaya: His daughter, Marai, was born on 5/12/17 and his son, Meru, was born on 5/13/17.
Bajen's brother/littermate, Ramil, lives at the San Diego Zoo.
He also has a younger brother, Asa, who was born on 7/9/14 by C-section after an ultrasound revealed no heartbeat. He was born unresponsive, but veterinarians from Cornell University worked to revive him. Asa now lives at the Milwaukee County Zoo in Milwaukee, Wisconsin.
Sacramento Zoo - One of a litter of three lion cubs born at the Sacramento Zoo on 10/24/14 to first-time parents Cleo (Mom) and Kamau (Dad).
Cleo was born at the Fort Worth Zoo on 9/9/05 and moved to the Sacramento Zoo on 1/14/07.
Kamau was born at the San Diego Zoo Safari Park to Mina (Mom) and Izu (Dad) on 7/19/06 and moved to the Sacramento Zoo on 10/13/08. His brother/littermate, Zenda, lives at the Brookfield Zoo in Brookfield, Illinois.
Los Angeles Zoo - Los Angeles, California - C.J. (short for Castro Jr.) is a Sumatran tiger who was born at the Sacramento Zoo in Sacramento, California on 3/3/13 to Bahagia (Mom) and Castro (Dad) and moved to the Los Angeles Zoo in October 2014. He is the last offspring of Baha (who died on 2/10/16) and Castro (who died on 10/29/14).
He has four older siblings:
(1) Kipling, born on 11/24/06, lives at the Dallas Zoo in Dallas, Texas
(2) Emerson, born on 11/24/06, lives at Zoo Atlanta in Atlanta, Georgia
(3) Taymor (a.k.a. "Larry"), born on 11/24/06, lives at the San Francisco Zoo in San Francisco, California
(4) Jingga, born on 3/18/10, lives at the Topeka Zoo in Topeka, Kansas

One of a litter of four female African lion cubs (Kataba, Mali, Msinga and Sabi) born to Makini (Dad) and Tajiri (Mom) at the Philadelphia Zoo on 6/25/14 and 6/26/14.
Cisco the jaguar was born at the Exotic Feline Breeding Compound in Rosamond, CA on 4/19/98 and still lives there.
Brookfield Zoo - Brookfield, Illinois - Whirl is a female Amur Tiger who was born at the Brookfield Zoo on 5/25/07 to Robeki (Dad) and Tiara (Mom). She lived at the Minnesota Zoo in Apple Valley, Minnesota from 10/3/11 until she returned to the Brookfield Zoo on 11/13/12. She has a docked tail due to an injury sustained when she was young.

Los Angeles Zoo - Kaloa the jaguar was born at Omaha's Henry Doorly Zoo in Omaha, NE on 7/12/01. He moved to the Franklin Park Zoo in Boston, MA on 4/12/02 and the Denver Zoo in Denver, CO on 12/3/03. He has lived at his current home at the Los Angeles Zoo since 4/6/05.
Santa Barbara Zoo - Lucky was born at the Santa Barbara Zoo in Santa Barbara, California. Due to a problem with the growth of some of his foot bones, and the risk and unlikely success of surgery, he wears a custom-designed shoe made by Teva which enables him to walk, jump and swim like the other penguins.

San Diego Zoo Safari Park - Suka is a Sumatran tiger born at the San Diego Zoo Safari Park in Escondido, California on 9/14/15 to first-time parents Teddy and Joanne.
San Diego Zoo Safari Park - Two of Addison's cubs born on 7/13/14 watching Amara the cheetah during an Animal Ambassador talk on International Cheetah Day.
Katmandu, a male white tiger, was born on 5/1/02 and moved from the Tanganyika Wildlife Park in Kansas to the Exotic Feline Breeding Compound in Rosamond, California in May 2009.
Please note that EFBC does not breed white tigers.
