2nd test, cranked up the ISO to 1600. The result was really good comparing to my earlier shots with the a77M1 with ISO 1250.

Bronx Zoo - Bronx, New York - One of a litter of two male snow leopard cubs born at the Bronx Zoo on 5/6/14 to Snowballs (Dad) and Kali (Mom). The other cub and their mother can be seen in the background.
Bad weather, poor light but my first birding with the Tamron 150-600mm at the local duckpond. It is fast, sharp and fun! With some practice the Sony A77m2 and the Tammy is going to rock!

Sacramento Zoo - Sacramento, California - Misha the Snow Leopard was born at the Denver Zoo in Denver, Colorado on 5/13/13 to Natasha and Himal. She moved to her current home at the Sacramento Zoo on 4/17/14.
My first test with the Tamron 150-600mm.Low light (ISO 3200) and bad weather. Handheld. My initial impression is that the Tammy is sharper, MUCH quieter, faster than the Tammy 200-500mm. It is relative easy to hand hold although it is heavier.
Exotic Feline Breeding Compound - Rosamond, California - Zeya the Amur Leopard was born at Tanganyika Wildlife Park in Kansas on 5/14/11 to Lischinka (Mom) and Kosma (Dad) and moved to EFBC on 11/7/11. She lived at the San Diego Zoo with her brothers, Primorye and Koshka, from 3/7/12 until she moved back to EFBC on 2/23/13. Koshka moved back to EFBC on 5/17/16. Primorye passed away from cancer on 7/7/15.
