Had a great birthday! Spent the afternoon visiting with an old friend and spent dinner with my boyfriend. This was taken this afternoon and captures my mood. Me belting out this song on the radio.

9.30 -- photo by SONJ -- The 2017 Plane Pull was the biggest yet! More than 50 teams took to the tarmac at Newark Liberty International Airport on September 30 to test their strength and see if they could move a 93,000 pound Boeing 737. The event blew all expectations out of the water, raising more than $200,000! This year's Plane Pull was hosted by The Port Authority of New York & New Jersey and United Airlines, and supported by the Law Enforcement Torch Run for Special Olympics New Jersey.

1959 Jaguar XK150 FHC

Although having a family resemblance to the XK120 and XK140, the XK150 was radically modernized. A one piece windscreen replaced the split screen, and the wing line no longer dropped as much over the doors. The alloy bonnet was also widened, and opened down to the wings.
In the interior, the XK140's walnut dashboard was replaced by an elegantly leather trimmed dash. Thinner doors gave the interior needed space as well.
Four-wheel Dunlop 12 in. Disc-Brakes appeared for the first time. Suspension and chassis were very similar to that on the XK140. Steering was by rack and pinion; power steering was not offered. Production ended in October of 1960.
S837312: Offered here is an elegant fixed head coupe, meticulously restored from top to bottom, with no detail overlooked.
This iconic British roadster is finished in a beautiful metallic blue over dark blue upholstery, complimented by chrome wire wheels, and driving lamps; displaying excellent fit and finish throughout. The car also features correct “J” headlamps and dual exhaust.
The cabin of the 150 is quite striking. Supple hides and well polished wood adorn the cockpit as well as plenty of brightwork. An aftermarket stereo system has been installed under the dash.
The well sorted 3.4L motor is quite stout, exhibiting strong acceleration and steady idling as the automatic transmission shifts through all gears with ease. As a reliable machine, this Jaguar certainly draws attention with its striking looks, all while offering a pleasant care-free driving experience.

A young girl sifts through some of the refuse in a giant garbage dump in Guatemala City. About 700 people live in the dump itself, and another 1200 live in a shantytown just outside the walls. They spend most of their days going through the garbage for anything they can eat or resell.
