at SIGN ALLDAY, DAIKANYAMA TOKYO

An inspiring collection of political signs is on display at ‘Signs of Hope’, a special exhibit at Art Works Downtown in San Rafael. Over a hundred folks came to the opening celebration on April 14th, attracting creative minds of all ages and backgrounds.

‘Signs of Hope’ features some really creative signs used for civil activism during 2016-2017. The show includes my Bamboodu Theater, a puppet stage featuring Lady Liberty and Mr. Trump, with animated characters, news ticker and music.

This popular art show is curated by artist Angelique Benicio and community leader Thomas Roedoc, with support from Art Works Downtown and the Mill Valley Community Action Network (MVCAN).

Wendy and Kathy holding down the fort at sign in. #YStandOut

I've spent the last 2 days laughing at signs *that I can understand*.

Okay so I walked around for about 15 minuets before I realized that the arrangements were supposed to represent the art. I tend to walk around with my head up my backside a lot. Seeing this paring however it was too hard to miss. Light bulb went on and I had to re-visit several rooms going.. ooohhh.

This is the Bouquets to Art at the De Young Museum in San Francisco. If I read the news or looked at signs I bet I would know what was going on more often.
