Bohol has 3 municipalities which are substantial seaweed producers in the region: Jetafe, Talibon and Bien Unido. Traditionally, the most productive is Bien Unido, specifically the island of Hingutanan which sits on the nutrients-rich Danahon reef.

On Saturday, I dragged out my studio lights, the posing platform, and background drapes. It's been months since I set up my studio gear. I used a very basic lighting setup on this shot. (Simple always seems to work best with animals!) One stobe was pointing at the backdrop, set to 100% power. The other light was bounced out of a white umbrella onto the pugs at 80%. I always have fun playing with the lights and seeing what different setups create.

(Quelle: Wikipedia)
The common ivy (Hedera helix) is a twiner and the only Central European representative of the family Araliaceae.
The evergreen plant is able to climb up to at least 25 meters to trees and walls with their roots. Ivy can reach the age of 450 years.
The small, yellow-green blossoms are umbels and appear in the months of September through October. With this late flowering ivy is a specialty within the central European flora with their mainly flowering in the spring and summer and an important food source for bees, wasps and hoverflies. Of the butterflies, the admiral visited the blossoms. The silk ivy-bee (Colletes hederae) has even exclusively specializing on ivy pollen for rearing their broods . (Source: Wikipedia )

One Canada Square (also known as the Canary Wharf Tower) is a skyscraper in Canary Wharf, London. It is the tallest building in the United Kingdom at 800 ft (240 m) above sea level, or 771 ft (235 m) above ground level[5][6] (see height section for other quoted heights). It is the sixth tallest building in the European Union.
One Canada Square is a conspicuous London landmark, clearly visible at a distance from large areas of East and South London in particular.
The tower can be seen approximately 30 miles (50 km) away from the following notable observation places:
. Gore Hill, Amersham, around 28 miles (45 km) away
. ZSL Whipsnade Zoo in Bedfordshire is over 32 miles (51 km) away

After seeing Luke/PhotoInference's many experiments with different colored gels, I settled on green for my attempts at light painting the wreck - I liked the underwater feel the green light gave the shipwreck. Dive in and drift along with the shipwreck.

The thick fog surrounding the Golden Gate Bridge alternated from being a thick soup to a emerging as a golden veil as it swirled around on this morning. Fog often can produce some excellent atmospheric effects, though it does not always cooperate. Three foghorns echoed against the hills as ships passed by.
The fog allowed parts of the bridge to be hidden so others could be emphasized. It is usually necessary to wait quite a long while in order for the most interesting parts to be visible, as if a painter were composing the image. The wait often pays off but even if it doesn’t, this is a great place to be.
I pay close attention to the local weather conditions at the Golden Gate before I go here, but it is rare that I see conditions align themselves in a way that can produce a really good photograph.
Koh Kood is a part of Koh Chang National Park, it has a more peaceful and pristine atmosphere than any other Island in Thailand. The sandy beaches are great. You can relax beneath the palm trees enjoy a fresh coconut, a good book and bathe in the crystal-clear water. Our resort is located at the beginning of this crescent shaped half moon bay - the Bang Boa Bay.
We stayed at Koh Kood resort. After the rain of last evening the sky cleared this morning. It's such beautiful morning when I woke up I immediately run into the warm sea water. The greatest bath tub of the world.

The story:
---------
Soon after I made the photo "Passageway", my first flickr upload, the moon came out and with the last remaining light in the sky I saw this scene. Most of the light is from the intentionally overexposed moon. It is a thin crescent but it looks full because I exposed the scene for the light on the water, not for the moon! 2 minutes also allowed the moon to move a bit, making it appear even larger!

1.6-second exposure @F16 with ND grads 0.9 + 0.75 (I used a longish exposure to show the unusual flowing movement.) This length of exposure often results in cottony and messy looking water, so you have to make sure that all the water is flowing smoothly in order to obtain good results.

This red sand beach is just outside of Hana and is rather difficult to get to at high tide, especially in the dark before sunrise. The old path was
washed away by a landslide and the waves at high tide make it difficult to run across the beaches between waves. But high tide is needed for the
waves to wash over the rocks you see here. I moved around until I positioned the sun in the corner to act as a spotlight on the rest of the scene.
The rocks really are that red and the red sand to the left is even redder. I will add that image later.

The Trot is a two beat diagonal gait of the horse where the diagonal pairs of legs move forward at the same time. There is a moment of suspension between each beat.
From the standpoint of the balance of the horse, the trot is a very stable gait, and the horse need not make major balancing motions with its head and neck. This is a common gait that the horse is worked in for dressage, due to its many variations.
The speed of a regular working trot is averages 8 to 12 km/h (5 to 10 mph), up to 19 km/h (12 mph) in a horse driving trials marathon. Harness racing horses are considerably faster. Other variations, such as the "jog trot" used in western pleasure competition, may be much slower.

According to traditional Astrology, Jupiter and Neptune together rule the oceans and seas.
Maybe you’ll find interesting the following text.. :)
Planet of Luck Jupiter is the thinking person's Planet. As the guardian of the abstract mind, this Planet rules higher learning and bestows upon us a yen for exploring ideas, both intellectually and spiritually. Intellectually speaking, Jupiter assists us in formulating our ideology. In the more spiritual realm, Jupiter lords over religions and philosophy. A search for the answers is what Jupiter proposes, and if it means spanning the globe to find them, well, that's probably why Jupiter also rules long-distance travel. In keeping with this theme, Jupiter compels us to assess our ethical and moral values; it also addresses our sense of optimism.
Luck and good fortune are associated with Jupiter for good reason. This is a kind and benevolent Planet, one which wants us to grow and flourish in a positive way. Jupiter may be judge and jury, but it's mostly an honorable helpmate, seeing to it that we're on the right path. While our success, accomplishments and prosperity are all within Jupiter's realm, this largely can, at times, deteriorate into laziness and sloth (Jupiter, at its worst, is associated with weight gain!). More often than not, however, Jupiter will guide us down the primrose path.
It takes Jupiter about twelve years to circle the Zodiac (the Planet visits an average of one Sign a year). It is masculine energy and rules both Sagittarius and Pisces and the Ninth and Twelfth Houses.
Neptune's glyph is the trident of Poseidon, God of the Seas. Much about this Planet is fluid (Neptune rules the oceans of the Earth), changeable and illusory in nature. Dreams, illusion, abstract thought and the mysterious are all governed by Neptune. Our spirituality is important to this Planet, and how we harness that energy for our personal betterment. Neptune invites us to let its energy wash over us and to use a meditative state to gain insights and heightened awareness. Poetry, music and dance are among the trance-like activities which this Planet favors.
It takes Neptune 165 years to complete its whirl around the Zodiac, spending roughly 14 years at each Sign. It is feminine energy and rules Pisces and the Twelfth House . Neptune is known as the higher octave of Venus and is the second of the transcendental Planets.
