Sorry for by absent in recent months. My Mom has been in and out of the hospital for the past few years and passed away on the 14th of July. We had the memorial last week in Arizona. I am back and hopefully can get back to my happy creative self.

Andalusia is located in southern Spain and covers an area of ​​8 provinces. Andalusia is the second largest autonomous region in Spain. The Plaza de España is a landmark in Spain located in Sevilla. A "Moorish paradisical style" with a half mile of tiled fountains, pavilions, walls, ponds, benches, and lush plantings of Mediterranean pines. The Plaza de España has been used as a filming location for in the Star Wars movie – Attack of the Clones. The scene of a young Anakin and Padmé arriving at the planet of Naboo, walking over the bridge and through the corridors of the Royal Palace.

It dominates the ancient capital of the Incas, before this great empire was destroyed by those highwaymen who were called the Conquistadors.

We are here at the Patapampa pass, on the road back to Arequipa, in a place called Mirador de los Andes. This is one of the highest point of our trip, at 4910 m altitude. We had already been there the day before to reach the Colca valley.
It's cold, a little icy wind blows, and the weather is threatening. The great good weather of the morning is far away.

4910 m d'altitude !
On est ici au col de Patapampa, sur la route de retour vers Arequipa, à un endroit appelé le MIrador des Andes. C'est un des points culminants de notre voyage, à 4910 m d'altitude. On était déjà passé par là la veille pour rejoindre la vallée du Colca.
Il fait froid, un petit vent glacial souffle, et le temps est menaçant. Il est loin, le grand beau temps du matin.

The heart of Paris, an incomparable gothic jewel more than 850 years old, was disfigured by a terrible fire on April 15, 2019!
I do'nt know if we will one day see again this cathedral as it was, but fortunately, it is still standing: the firefighters of Paris did an amazing job, the North Tower just about collapsed, but they finally saved the cathedral.
It will now be restored and will reborn from the ashes.

Le cœur de Paris, un joyau gothique incomparable vieux de plus de 850 ans, fut défiguré par un terrible incendie le 15 avril 2019 !
Je ne sais pas si nous reverrons un jour la cathédrale ainsi, mais heureusement, elle est toujours debout : les pompiers de Paris ont fait un boulot extraordinaire, la Tour Nord a failli s'effondrer, mais ils ont pour finir sauvé la cathédrale.
Elle va maintenant pouvoir être restaurée et renaîtra de ses cendres.

This little bit ascent of nothing arrives at the Dom summit.
The Dom is a mountain of the Pennine Alps, located between Randa and Saas-Fee in the canton of Valais. With its 4,545 m (14,911 ft) summit it is the third highest mountain in the Alps and the second highest in Switzerland, after Monte Rosa.
Although Dom is a German cognate for 'dome', it can also mean 'cathedral' and the mountain is named after Canon Berchtold of Sitten cathedral, the first person to survey the vicinity.

Vista espectacular de la ciutat à rtica de Tromso des de dalt del mirador de Fjellheisen, al que s'hi arriba amb teleferic. Caminant una mica cap al sud s'arriba al millor mirador, el Storsteinen, a 420 m. d'alçada.

Io e mio fratello gemello Michele (nikname Skiappa) ci siamo trovati in piazza San Marco vogliosi di scattare ed immortalare le più belle maschere veneziane in compagnia di Carlo,Alessandro,Adriana,Anna,Tonino ed Antonio componenti ed assidui frequentatori del gruppo Soniagallery.
E' bello e stimolante conoscere di persona amici che condividono la stessa nostra passione e che,spesso,ci troviamo in sana competizione tra i vari contest del gruppo.

Som al Moianès i aviat es pondrà el sol, la Muntanya de Montserrat i a baix la masia de "El Salomó" són testimonis silenciosos d'aquest espectacle.
Vaig anar a fotografiar aus, va enfosquir i sense necessitat de canviar l'objectiu vaig poder fotografiar allò que veia.

Some people do not acclimate to high altitude. There is no way to get to the Andes the day before and play sports, walk, breath, eat and we live at sea level.
It seems spring came early this year, snow melts, puddles everywhere and very slippery...
Winter was beautiful and snowy, perfect for my long distance walks.
I'm back and I'll try to catch up. :-)
