Day Eighty-seven, it's a Monster Day. While shopping at Heathrow, one of London's airport, I bought a "bag of dinosaurs"… Plastic dinosaurs were my favourites when I was a very little boy...

The 5C Call Connect is the on demand service operated by PC Coaches which offers connecting trips from outlaying villages into Coningsby and Tattershall to connect to the 55.
87 is seen going about it's duties, seen leaving Coningsby behind having nipped down from nearby Woodhall Spa heading to Tattershall.

I was out all day with my father again working. But I had just enough light to take this shot on my way back home. Found this field fuuuuuull of these little flowers and couldn't resist. Not sure what i'm having for dinner today, any ideas?

Moskvitch estate, 1:87 scale. I understand this to be a resin casting. The underside is marked 'Moskvich' and 'Aris'. One of the original wheels was missing, so this has a replacement set of Wiking wheels.
87thScale list Aris products known to them as:
Moskvitch 403 1962
Moskvitch 408 1965
Moskvitch 412 1969
Moskvitch 426 Estate 1966
Moskvitch 426 Van 1966
VAZ 2108/Lada Samara 1986
I now also have five 1:87 models sold by ADP, and their range includes a Moskvitch estate. It seems possible that this is the same model, possibly with an altered inscription on the base. Two of my ADPs are described as made in the Ukraine.
See: www.87thscale.info/aris.htm for details of Aris, and: www.87thscale.info/adp.htm for ADP.
Any further information welcome.

Preserved British Rail class 87 electric locomotive 87 001 is pictured on display at the National Railway Museum in York. This locomotive has carried 2 names during its life, initially named Stephenson (from January 1976 - July 1977) after which it was renamed Royal Scot, which it carried until 2003 apart from a nameless spell during 1998/9, after which it became Stephenson once more. Upon passing into the National Railway Museum collection it regained a Royal Scot nameplate on one side as can be seen here, whilst retaining the Stephenson name on the other.
