It is a lifestyle. I spent most of my afternoon and well into the night obscessing over a small problem I needed to fix. I took my camera out early this afternoon but had a dog with me so she occupied the seat my camera likes. Tonight when I went out a second time I forgot it. as the last seconds ticked down to midnight I paniced and had to shoot something for the challenge and my 365. So here it is captured seconds before midnight. Thank goodness for fast flashes for I am often under the gun.

F-87 instigator is a futuristic fighter jet that packs an elegant punch. It combines high visual discernibility with extremely low radar visibility, through its rader-wave absorbing nose geometry. There is no need for camouflage, since by the time you see it, you're already in trouble. Its twin-engine design with thrust-vectoring requires very few control surfaces, save the stealth-enhancing 'ruddervators' that bend over the engines. Combined with the lift fan that is centrally embedded in the fuselage, the swivelling nozzles produce enough lift in order for the plane to have full VTOL capability (Vertical Take-Off and Landing). This means the plane can land on a tiny improvised air strip. Especially since it is only 30 cms in length:)
The Lego model contains about 350 bricks. Aside from some as-yet unavailable model/color combinations, it can, and has been, built. The design includes a custom stand that has a tilted platform with a giant stud on it. This stud neatly fits into the bottom of the lift fan housing, allowing the entire plane to be rotated 360 degrees around the stand.

Preserved British Rail class 87 electric locomotive 87 001 is pictured on display at the National Railway Museum in York. This locomotive has carried 2 names during its life, initially named Stephenson (from January 1976 - July 1977) after which it was renamed Royal Scot, which it carried until 2003 apart from a nameless spell during 1998/9, after which it became Stephenson once more. Upon passing into the National Railway Museum collection it regained a Royal Scot nameplate on one side whilst retaining the Stephenson name on the other.
