For a few minutes every day this bike rack near Letterform Archive delivers a message.

Just read the surf forecast for the weekend.. 8-10 ft east swell!! Not sure that the winds will behave themselves as it is from a pretty local system so it could just be a mess...But i have been itching for a decent shoot or surf for what feels like weeks.. It will be nothing like the picture here from early autumn which was glassy 2-3 ft with clear skies.. Woo hoo, a good storm swell!!

The reason why there is some undesired polarization in the shot, was I had just arrived at the airport and hadn't even gotten out of the car yet, when this appeared in front of me. So I hastily shot it through the car windshield lol

8 years ago someone suggested this would make a good BW. They were right :-)

With C40-8’s being retired across the board, one of the last holdouts of these former Chicago and Northwestern GE’s is the Missabe division at Proctor and Two Harbors, Minnesota. It’s a far cry from the days when people thought these motors would displace all of the EMD’s up here.

I have my own business. I work often with banks and real estate companies. This day I was asked for a very special favor and house sit. The couple was moving and the movers were coming in and couple could not be there. They wanted someone to keep eye on the movers as house was loaded with extremely expensive items. I sat in chair for a few days as they packed up and moved belongings out. This is the main entrance. One angle of what you see. These stairs are custom. One piece of wood makes the curve. The doorway you see there was the library and every wall was stocked with books. Incredible home in Rosedale Toronto, Ontario
