Built on the site of a Chevron gas station and opened as a 7-Eleven convenience store in 2009. In May 2011, the store was rebranded as 1 Stop Food Mart. On June 9, 2012, the store reopened once again as a Circle K. Circle K closed in December 2016. In March 2017, Midway Pharmacy opened here as a relocation from their old store down the road.

Thanks to the failed attempt to cover up the store's front windows (with newsprint paper and blue painter's tape), I was able to get interior shots! This is one of the better de-branding jobs I've seen done at one of these shuttered 7-Elevens. Check out how the entire walk-in cooler area was cleanly removed on the right!

This is the 7-Eleven/Raise the Roost # 38980 at 6100 Pouncey Tract Road in Glen Allen, VA.

This store opened under independent the brand "AW SHUCKS", however they've since franchised with 7-Eleven and offer Raise the Roost chicken. Being that this store opened under an independent brand with the 'country market' theming, it has architecture and features that are not common for a 7-Eleven, such as a tunnel car wash, large gas island, vaulted ceiling, and heated outdoor style seating. They also hold an on premise liquor license (so alcohol can be consumed on-site).
