Tussen de verschillende opdrachten door zijn de eigen loks van Solvay vaak te vinden bij het centrale seinhuis. Zo ook rond het middaguur als het personeel gezamenlijke even pauzeert.
Vanaf de overweg heb ik zo goed zicht op Solvay 7 (een Mak G1203BB uit 1985) die al zij hun hele bestaan hier voor Solvay rijdt in Rheinberg.
Op de achtergrond zien we de losplaats voor kolen (links) en kalk (rechts). Daar wordt bijvoorbeeld de kalktrein gelost die door Lineas vanuit de groeve in het Belgische Yves-Gomezee (les Petons) naar Millingen Gbf gebracht wordt.
Links dus het seinhuis. Het naar links afbuigende spoor is de stamlijn naar Millingen Gbf en de vestiging van Inovyn.

"The Wheel of Life"
Yesterday was the most beautiful inspirational day I've had in a long time, I walked for miles on a beautiful winters day up to my ankles in squelchy mud I love, read books, nearly fell into the river and dropped my camera! But they were all nearly's and I had the best day!

This represents to me the coming of a much needed spring, the regrowth from what we thought was dead and long gone, and the mystery of life's ever turning wheel
Every once in a while you're at the right place at the right time. I was actually packing up that evening as the sun had set and the color was gone. Then all of a sudden the sky started to light up again with reds, pinks and oranges. It was one of the most colorful sky's I've seen. I grabbed my camera and tripod, ran back to the marina and made this image. It was well worth the 7 dollar fee to enter the park that day. Joe Pool Lake, Grand Prairie, Texas, April 2015

Number 7 in my series of street portraits. So far it's going very very slowly. Still finding it hard going approaching people and then when I do I've been taking really rubbish shots. But I liked this one.
