Sorry more Mamiya 7 photo walk images to come. The not been able to compose accurately is a real let down. Here I had to crop the off centre image. (Seaweed with the tide going out). I'm trying to like the camera but I have a feeling a Hasselblad will do a better job.

I'm playing catch up at this point, missing two weeks.I honestly edited the crap out of this and I have no idea how it looks any more. But, I took it because I wanted to experiment. Since I finished classes for the semester I thought I'd run to my camera and take photos non-stop.
Instead, I found myself mentally exhausted and just wanted a break from everything. Is it weird to say that I feel like I'm losing the dreamer in me? I find myself to be really cynical at times, it's like reality is hitting me in the face over and over again. I don't know..
I'm constantly frustrated by people and how they think treating people a certain way comes without consequences. And I'm frustrated by how everyone around me is rushing me to figure out who I am and who I want to be.
I just would like taking things slow, I'd like people to be kind, and I'd like the world to function on a more humane basis
AND this is where Lorde and my troubled mind comes in. I love her. Sorry I think too much, and I'm getting too comfortable writing it all out here. oh well, maybe someone will see what I'm seeing :)

Daphne (strangers 7, round 3)
How nice to see myself reflected in the sunglasses of a woman coming towards me. I want a picture of that, a selfie! I ask Daphne but he hesitates: "I don't like posing," she says. "You just have to stand still and look at me, a little bit in the shadows please," I say and tell a bit about the 100strangers project. And then she works fine. Daphne is studying commercial economics and as a change from the digital lessons she went for a walk. Taking a break, not behind the computer. She is already in the 3rd year of study and does not yet know whether she wants to continue with this study. Maybe she will start another study. Thank you Daphne for cooperating. This is the 7th photo of my 3rd round of the 100strangers project.

The new station from Duivendrecht is almost completed just a couple of months before its opening.
Day 7
This week did not really go as planned. I envisioned going to a few different locations. However, life had other plans. Day 7 is a photo of Emma (Lilly's Mom) a nice subject when I wasn't up to going out just yet.

A 7-spot Ladybird (Coccinella septempunctata) just emerged from the pupa. I've done a bit of "Photoshoppery" to the background on this one; just to have a play.
7-Eleven #17466 (closed) [3,920 square feet including neighboring tenant]

Built and opened in 1975, closed/re-located in 2013
You may remember a closed 7-Eleven I photographed last year. At the time I wasn't able to get any interior shots since only a tiny bit of the paper on the windows was peeled back. Since then an entire section of it fell off and now I can see the entire inside!
This is the third closed location I've seen where the interior was completely wiped clean and the walk-in cooler was removed. However, this one kept the floor intact and the ceiling still has the old fluorescent tube lighting.

Travellers Choice, Carnforth allocated 7HXP Tri axle Volvo coach is seen at Calderstones school Liverpool on November 20 2020.
This working Is seen whilst transporting army Personnel from the Pontins camp at Ainsdale to various locations around Liverpool In association with the Covid 19 testing sites around Liverpool.
I cleared this vehicle for over 300 miles during the time I was based at Ainsdale army/Pontins camp.
This school was attended by John Lennon and was where he formed the Quarry Men group prior to forming the Beatles.
This Is a superb vehicle to drive. And also Les Dennis attended here.
An outbound 7 Train leaves Manhattan behind while running above Queens Boulevard in Sunnyside. The Empire State Building used to be mostly visible from this angle but development in Queens has altered the view.
The 7:58 outbound arrival coasts to a stop at Evanston-Davis Street with an impressive sunset illuminating the sky in the background. Back before I had my driver's license, the 7:58 (7:35 out of OTC) was the train I'd always take home after days of railfanning in the city. Even though I'd usually disembark at Central and not Davis, it was still pretty cool shooting this classic (to me) train under this sunset.
