( 6 ) Add the outer placket to the front piece. To do so pin the outer placket to the front piece, right sides together. Sew the placket on and while doing so pull the notch on the placket gently apart so that the tip of the notch matches up with the corner mark in the front piece. This way the placket is flush with the hemline of the front piece. Sew over the intersection in the corner. To do so leave the needle down, lift the footer, align front piece and placket, lower footer and continue sewing.
Day 6/365 "Time waits on no one"
Don't tell me you've been sitting there waiting on me from last night. I was only joking when I said don't move. Calm down, I know you've been looking out for this post all day and I know I'm late. If you move over and give me room to type I'll be able to post on time :D. That's better, thank you.
Today was one of those days where nothing went according to plan. Just my luck. I said I would leave the studio today and I didn't get a chance to. I have a perfectly good explanation though, I lost my keys and so I was stuck in the house all day. Yes I could have taken a shot somewhere else in the house but I wanted to go outside so I spent hours searching. I couldn't find it so I gave up and went on to try other shots (none of which came out how I wanted them to) when I gave up that's when I found it but it was already too late to go outside. To my surprise when I looked at the clock it was after nine. I know you're wondering how long it took me to find the keys but I won't tell you :p. Ok fine, It took me about 6-7 hours, yeh I know...don't say it. You had to say it huh? I'll pretend you didn't just call me the name you just called me. Anyways it's 11:25 so let me wrap this up.
About the shot, I took it after 9pm. It didn't turn out how I wanted it to but nothing seems to theses days. Time really waits on no one, so make hay while the sun shines :).

ENGLISH VERSION
The very first Zeiss 6x30 model is called Jagdglas (see www.flickr.com/photos/franksbinoculars/50316463193) and is introduced in 1906/1907. It was more or less the predecessor of the later Silvamar (see www.flickr.com/photos/franksbinoculars/29833588962) and Marineglas (see www.flickr.com/photos/franksbinoculars/50304475453). Remarkable at this time besides the new design is also the large field of view of 150 m/1000 m. Over time the model undergoes various changes. As a very successful binocular e.g. the Silvamar is produced until March 1969.
This very rare example is about an export model for the Danish army, recognizable by the crown over HT on the left top cover plate (HT Hærens Tøjhus, acceptance mark of the Danish army, purchased between 1909 and 1932). On the right top plate above JAGDGLAS there is the inscription "Nr. 227." which got struck out; the left upper plate apparently shows the new number "Nr899". This can be explained by the fact that the original inventory number 227 got replaced by the new number 899 between 1924 and 1930; also compare www.wehrmacht-awards.com/forums/showthread.php?t=930341.
