You know when you think you have no expectation because you literally have no idea what to expect but then later when it's all so unexpected you realize you had expectations. That.

Lamborghini Murcielago

Engine: 6.2 V12

Power: 572.0 bhp (426.5 kW) @ 7500 rpm

Torque: 650.0 Nm (479 ft·lb) @ 5400 rpm

Weight: 1650 kilo / 3637.6 lbs

Drive: All wheel drive

Gearbox: 6 Speed Manual

Acceleration: 0-60 mph 4.00 s

Top speed 332 km/h (206 mph)

The Lamborghini Murciélago, for the first time in the history of the brand is equipped with a 6-speed gearbox, while the transmission maintains the traditional Lamborghini layout. The Murciélago, like its predecessor the Diablo, is equipped with permanent four-wheel drive and a central viscous coupling (Viscous Traction System), with 45% limited slip and the front with 25% limited slip. This solution represents an active traction control system: excess torque on the primary axle (rear) is automatically transferred to the secondary axle (front) to maintain ideal traction at all times.

The Murciélago chassis has been stiffened considerably compared to the Diablo's. The chassis consists of a frame made of high-strength steel tube, with structural elements in carbon fibre/honeycomb. The carbon fibre elements are attached to the steel frame using a combination of adhesives and steel rivets.

Always thought they have 5 petals, but I found one with 6 petals. In California they bloom earlier than in Japan. On this tree the blooming has just begun. Except for this flower, all the rest of them on this tree have 5 petals.

As I came out of the supermarket, I saw the car park attendant checking tickets and just wondered if he would be amenable to having his portrait taken. I'd had an appointment in Eastleigh and had parked in this car park planning to take some photos around the town, after my appointment and before doing a bit of grocery shopping.

It had been a disappointing little non-photoshoot, no interesting street scenes and everybody rushing about looking pinched with the cold and closed in their own little worlds.

I admit I did make a rather more direct approach than usual to Chris the attendant (or civil enforcement officer) as I thought he might disappear suddenly to check the cars round the corner.

He listened carefully while I explained my strangers' portrait project and I thought he might say no. I admit I'm always pleased to be taken seriously as I would do the same if approached in this way. After a quick call to the office, he agreed to a photo so I took four or five and this is the one I judge to be the best.

I asked if Chris minded being out in all weathers His response was one word: 'Lovely'. He has worked as a civil enforcement officer for eight years and is hoping that in May, when he could retire, he will be able to take semi-retirement, working three days per week.

Chris enjoys competition rifle shooting and showed me a shot on his phone of a good result he had. He and his wife also like cycling together. Travel is another passion: recently they have been on cruises to the Arctic, Antarctic, and Japan and China. Their family includes two grandchildren and a great grandchild.

Seeing a shot on Chris's phone of a baby seal, I commented that he obviously also likes photography and he told me he has a Nikon DSLR.

I told Chris that he had made my morning as I had imagined coming home with no photos. He gave me his email address so I could send him a photo and we parted company.

(btw I had plenty of parking time and got no ticket.)

fake crab sticks, onigiri, strawberries, edamame, strawberry dessert pocky, and salad (after I eat the other stuff, I mix the rest together and add dressing. Yay for lettuce dividers!). This is my first egg-chickie.

I had a cozy night in my apartment tonight. Passed on dinner out and instead tore up the kitchen cooking all kinds of things, most of which were not for tonight's dinner. A little time on the internet, some TV, and bed. Ah, the glamourous life of a teacher.

This image is rhythm with color interaction. As the red lanterns are very vibrant, they contrast with the blue sky and green foliage. This image is one very simple in nature but through the angle and framing, it was able to be made more interesting. When taking this I wanted to avoid taking an image like all the others of the lanterns that have been taken, repeatedly.

So at this point in the challenge, I'm just going to post the day's picture whenever I have the time. -____-

So today's theme is Gothic, but I don't have any gothic themed dolls so here's a weird little story I came up with one day while playing with my little sister's dolls.

In some third world country, lives a beautiful young Asiatic slave girl in a traveling circus. She was taken in from the streets to be the puppeteer's assistant, and she spends most of her time in the backroom where all of the puppets are kept. One day one of the puppets starts speaking to her, and tells her his sad fate of being a puppet made of scraps no longer fit to perform on the stage. He tells her that if she can get him to perform just once on the stage, his lifelike movement and voice will enchant the audience, making her puppet act famous so she can rise from her status as a slave. Desperate for a chance at a better life, she suggests the performance, and once her request is granted, the puppet's act is a roaring success. Every day afterwards becomes a struggle for her to raise enough money to run away and make a life for herself elsewhere.

The story was pretty dark with the question of the puppet being truly alive never fully answered. He's alive in the girl's presence and on the stage, but the rest of the time he's just an inanimate puppet, raising the question if he's really alive or just a part of the girl's twisted imagination.

This is what happens when I actually "play" with dolls. >__<
