Rather lovely, leafy house along the edge of the Meadows, a popular, huge park in the middle of Edinburgh. Whenever I see the number 6 like this I automatically think of The Prisoner. Perhaps this is where Patrick McGoohan's Number 6 was kept during a stay in Edinburgh before being sent to the Village...

CS-TBD was purchased from Air Portugal by the Republic of Zaire in 1986 and was re-registered as 9T-MSS. It was withdrawn from use by the mid-1990s. It lay parked at Lisbon Airport from then until it was broken up there in September 2006. The nose section was saved and has been preserved in TAP livery (port side only) at Sintra, wearing its original fleet name "Lourenço Marques". The starboard side wears Portuguese Air Force markings, recalling two of the type operated between 1971 and 1976.
