With an inbound 36 to Victoria Centre is Enviro 400 City CBG Scania N280UD 525; one of last year's intake to bring the 35 and 36 up to a full set of biogas buses. It was one of eleven new buses added to orange line in 2022, albeit with four of the slightly older ones being lost to purple line.
Meanwhile, with a 34C heading for its newly extended loop around the city is Enviro 400 Scania N230UD 621. This machine is an orange line bus through and through, being new to the 36 in 2014, moved to the 35 in 2018 when the 36 gained its gas buses, and similarly ousted onto the 34* when the 35 also went full biogas. Of the currently existing orange line routes, 621's been a familiar sight across all of them!
*via a convoluted process which saw a temporary return of 14 plates on the 36!

621 got a taste of things to come when it escaped onto the 36 in May, before the 35 and 36 began interworking. Now, here it is doing it again but with the updated 35/36 graphics. Until I manage to get this one on the 36 in the sunshine, here is a stopgap photo of it with a City-bound working, at the bottom of Cator Lane on 27.6.22

Having finished setting out the shorts at Spencer, now solid empties for Parkertown, unfortunately the last leg will be a short one as they will only go as far as Brighton an tie down. Better than nothing as it goes here at times.
