Info (EN): Originally the 3 vehicles from this batch were destined for Lanzarote's public transport system. However after arriving in the island, the local company decided not to go ahead with the purchase. There were 4 rejected vehicles from this decision, 3 were bought by Guaguas Municipales and the 4th one is currently unit 4751 of TITSA in Tenerife. The 3 units that went to Gran Canaria were destined to cover routes with medium-low density such as lines 6, 7, 18, 19, 41 or 70. Nevertheless with the arrival of the new Iveco Heuliez vehicles and the lack of spare parts due to Tata Hispano's bankrupcy, the decision was made to keep these as substitute vehicles. They currently cover routes 7 and 70, one bus at a time every several days.
A bane of frustration to the less interested drivers, but a pleasure to those who appreciate it, I wait patiently at Houlden Road level crossing, between Goolwa and Middleton, as 621 roars along and passes ahead of me.
