"Life and death, energy and peace, if i stop today it was still worth it. Even the terrible mistakes, that I have made and would have unmade if I could. The pains that have burned me and scarred my soul, it was worth it for having been allowed to walk where I've walked. Which was to hell on earth, heaven on earth, back again, into, under, far in between, through it, in it and above..."

Another view from my last session with the Northern Lights. Hoping to get lucky with Aurora these next few nights, as heightened magnetospheric activity is predicted. I'll have to be lucky, since we only get real darkness now between around 11 PM and 4 AM . 20 seconds on Konica Centuria 800 Film, Canon T90, Zenitar 16.
De namen der gevallenen
die wij zo snel vergaten
worden soms nog gezongen
bij monde van de stormwind.
Dan: luister aan de palen.
Ik hoorde het eens vervaarlijk
onder Zalk en Veecaten –
te zwaar haast voor de masten
en de metalen draden.

A rainy day with Photoshop instead of camera. For my album "Creativity, Close-up and Macro". Take a look !
I made this hat last night. I've never made anything out of yarn that wasn't just a bunch of knots in my entire life. It's a hat. It looks like a hat. You can wear it on your head and stay warm. Who knew I could do that? You really liked it even though you hate pink, and you wore it paired with the mustard shirt I got your for Christmas. And even though you proudly proclaim that you are daddy's girl every chance you get, in these moments, I know you love me. And it's the very best feeling in the world.
Day 4 submission for the group 'October 2017: a month in 31 pictures'
I took a little time this afternoon to wander round the local park, and came up with these seedheads for today's photo.
Båstnäs, Sweden, 2016 This auto graveyard in the middle of nowhere in sweden is a really interesting place. Accordingly, the impressive scrap collection was created by a mechanic family that sold car parts to Norway in times after the second world war. They wanted to avoid import bans and import duties on cars. So the cars were built apart on the Swedish side, then brought in pieces across the border and completed again in Norway. A clever business concept that was working till 1986 when the import duties were abolished. At this time, the workshop was closed. Nevertheless, the people brought their wrecked cars on the side. Approximately one thousand cars should be here - a rough estimate.
- www.kevin-palmer.com - It was a cold night waiting for the aurora. After missing the substorm at 11:00 I went out and waited past 3AM, but it never reappeared.
Between 17 April and 14 May Kinchbus are operating service 865 which runs between Normanton on Soar and Clifton. This is because the contract with Nottingham Coaches ended on 15 April, however the replacement demand responsive service which Kinch will operate does not start until 16 May. The demand responsive service will also replace Trent Barton's Skylink through Sutton Bonington and Zouch.
Sprint-branded Solo YJ07EFU (4) is seen as it makes its way out of Barton in Fabis with the 10:20 from Clifton.

Finally hit a sunset in 2015!!! Lake Union was pretty choppy on this evening and I decided right as the color was starting to come on to put on 10x ND filter to smooth out the lake. I was pretty nervous because the color lasted about as long as my exposure which I totally had to guess at and as luck would have it 4 minutes and 30 seconds was right on the money. This was a one shot gamble and it paid off.
Have a great week ahead and thanks as always for taking the time to check out my stream.

Between working and Flickr I have not had time for anything else. I have a stack of books that I have promised to read, a house that needs cleaning, several hours of sleep to catch up on. I will be back May 25th hopefully rested, with new enthusiasm and lots of new photos. Have a wonderful new week dear friends!! I will miss seeing your wonderful photos.
My inspiration of the day: my new scarf that I just finished last night! I've been wanting to make one of those cliché crown shots FOREVER so I made one, HA. felt like kindergarten all over again.
This looks like 'icequeen was cold so she needed a scarf!' haha!
I had a hard time choosing, so that's why I upload more!
Which one would you have choosen? :)
P.S. I've made my own group for this!!
