A few months ago, this field was covered in golden coloured barley & Flynn had to bounce high, to peek over the tops of the crop at me. Now, there's only bare earth, turned to sticky mud with the recent heavy rains we've had. Flynn has fun no matter the season though & happily changes the games he plays. In summer, he likes to creep & stalk after me, slinking carefully through the long grasses, making short, bounding dashes ahead, to chase toys. In winter, his cover for stalking is gone (he still attempts to hide by flattening himself against the brown soil & lying very still), mostly though, he just likes to use the open space to run freely, going out wide, loping across the field in giant semi-circles.
Haha, I must admit, I'm quite jealous of Flynn - I wish I could run so easily up hill over the mud... I was slogging along at a snail's pace & stopping regularly to "admire the view" (catch my breath!) & my boots felt like they were stuck in cement they were so covered in clumps of earth. Flynn had little mud socks but he skipped over the ground quite easily & must have gone many times the distance I did, running ahead & back to me!

sunday afternoon, 4:30pm. sunny, and rainy later. life is good because you can share another people's talent, and gallery is one of the great places to go.
Today's entry is a 1949 Pontiac sedan delivery. I had a 1951 Pontiac hearse that was very similar to this but a bit stretched (and not quite in this kind of condition)

Kelly is a student I met in Paris a while back. She was busying herself around a temporary photo exhibition denouncing racial discrimination. She gladly let me take a portrait but she was very shy. I took a few shots to get a lovely smile!
