Saw these birds in migration while driving along California Route 1 from Redwood nation park to San Francisco.

Was amazed by this fascinating formation.

Ci sono momenti nella nostra vita in cui l'amore sconfigge tutto: sfinimento, insonnia... tutto.

E poi ci sono quei momenti in cui sembra che l'amore non ci porti nulla... se non dolore.

Not too sure about the colouring on this one, but I still like it!

Dave: Hi Bruno. Can I talk to you about what happened last night while Celina was here?

Bruno: I had a great time. Really like hanging out with her.

Dave: Well,, she sent me a text that I'd like your opinion on.

Bruno: This is starting to sound like one of those conversations where I should have a lawyer present.

Dave: Not sure we need that. I just want to ask you about this photo. Looks like you were on the kitchen table?

Bruno: Yup. That happened.

Dave: Do you want to tell my why?

Bruno: Nope.

Dave: Really? Nope?

Bruno: Yup. Sticking with nope.

Dave: But, I'm really curious why. You haven't climbed on the kitchen table in over a year.

Bruno: Yeah, still not going to tell you why.

Dave: Is this about the whole lawyer thing?

Bruno: Nope. Some things are best left unexplained. Makes for a much better story in your mind. If I told you why I was up there, you would be deprived of the joy of wondering what I was thinking.

Dave: So your climbing on the table then not telling me why is doing me a favour?

Bruno: Yup. I'm very considerate In that way.

And the challenge shot will wait for another week. I was all set to do the imitation/tribute challenge, then I got this text from our babysitter celina showing Bruno on the kitchen table. The whole text conversation is linked on my photostream.

Bruno is a climber and we will often find him on chairs, benches, and ottomans. But, the table is something rare (fortunately). Apparently celina had been ignoring him as she was studying for an exam (her notes are beside him on the table) and she returned to the kitchen after helping the kids with something and found him perched up on the table with her notes. Guess he thought she needed to spend more time with him.

time for something sweet

Today is my birthday so rather than putting up a pic basically saying "SAY HAPPY BIRTHDAY!!", I'm going to continue the scheduled programming just with a B-day twist with my sigfig. Thanks guys!

WHW day 5, On the Bridge of Orkey

I know. Today is the Flickr Black Day, but I think I have enough wars to fight before starting new ones.

Each December 8th in my house gets the Christmas tree, and this year has given us a hand this little helper, Danbo.

It was so cute.
