Volunteer (Stranger 49)
I took a picture of one of the volunteers of the Friends of the Sint Jacobskapel association in Nijmegen. Departing pilgrims on the pilgrimage to Santiago de Compostela can receive a blessing (and a stamp in their pilgrim pass) in the chapel on departure here. The man in the photo (I forgot to ask his name) is one of the volunteers who can tell interested parties something about the old chapel that was built in Nijmegen in the 15th century. As a volunteer he can be found there almost every Saturday, serving coffee and showing the way. In the small room, the light from the stained glass windows shone nicely on his face. A good time for a photo.
This is the 49th photo from my 3rd round of the 100strangers project.

Getting ready for a run. This is yours truly putting on her trusty trainers for a weekend run. Used a tiny tripod and self-timer. I'm really into long distance running and I do think my health benefits from it.

Movement in still images is a paradox. Combine movement and stillness in a single photograph.

Back on nights so the obligatory visit to the city centre on my lunch break to take more pics through the crystal ball. I'd left the SD card in the back of the computer so had to use the phone. Tonight was the first time I've used Flickr's Aviary to edit. It's a pretty useful tool when you're on a works PC!

Hey look, a collaboration photo with Ubermummy! Damn I am lucky, I think this is the third one we have done together. But we did this one a little different.
In the past we have come up with an idea and then we both take our pics and Elana puts them together into the final image.
This time Elana came up with the idea to use our bunny masks but we each came up with our own idea for the image we wanted to make. So I told her what I wanted her to do for my image and she told me what to do for hers. When then swapped shots and then each took another photo to go in our versions. Confused yet??? Yeah, Elana was pretty confused at first as well. Then I drew her a simple picture to explain it and used small words and she eventually figured it out ;-)
The best part is that up until right now neither of us know what the other is doing for their version!
