Q49#: If you're a boy what would you name yourself?
A49#: Hm, Asher! It means happy! (: If I have a son in the future, I'll definitely name him Asher! :D
ONE MORE WEEK TO GO. JENG JENG JENG JENG.
Honestly, I cannot believe this project is coming to an end.
This is a outtake from this photo. I actually planned to take some photos today but hehhh, it didn't happen ...
Rinse Repeat.
I tried in vein to do another eye macro to hand shot but I got nowhere fast. A willing eye model is a must as trying to photograph your own eye is rather a pain in the arse.
I had a quick look for other circular forms and decided on the washing machine as that doesn't move.
I lit the washing machine with the lp brushes portrait scanner, swapped tripods to the cardboard with a disc cut out at my back door. Remove lens cap, hobble outside and paint around my hand with the black fibers.

I feel this won't get many comments, but I don't care, cause I love this photo, with or without comments.

This is a 49' Mercury owned by Bill and Lindee Wood, and shot for the KZOK Classic Car Calendar. It's got all kinds of pimped out things goinz onz with it, but I really liked the airbags which allowed him to drop it like it's hot for me..

Processing on this was a bit more complicated than I'm used to. I shot this car in strips so that I could properly light everything as I wanted. This is actually a combination of 5 different shots:
-1 that I shot then moved my softbox and reshot so I could paint out the reflections
-interior front
-interior back (could have done at same time but didn't have enough gels)
-front wheel/rim
Big thanks to Ken Brown and Scott Dukes for the tips. Another huge thanks to Nick Parker for letting me borrow some of his gear and for assisting.
