SF17 VNW is a Volvo B5TL/Wright Eclipse Gemini new to Lothian in July 2017 as their 485.
It was one of 30 similar buses for cross city service 26 (Clerwood-Seton Sands/Tranent).
Amb el pas del temps tots els cotxes de la serie van veure modificada la lliurea sense TPC i amb el sostre blanc. A la fotografia veiem el 485 en una de les andanes de l'estació de Tarragona.

Op 15 mei 2016 werd op 1e Pinksterdag afgereisd naar Linz am Rhein. Wetende dat het wellicht akelig stil zou kunnen zijn -het was immers zondag én Pinksteren- toch maar mijn geluk beproefd. Na ruim anderhalf(!) uur wachten komt dan eindelijk de eerste trein als BLS Cargo 485 005 met trein Pomezia Santa Palomba - Rheinhausen door een koud en nat Linz am Rhein.

This little stone entrance-way is intriguing. It actually was a ticket booth to enter Busch Gardens in the early 20th century. The home on the property (not visible from the street) incorporates the remnants of the Old Mill, a European style windmill, that was part of the gardens.

Such was the position of the sunlight angle that the roundabout at Hollington Road briefly tipped light onto the nearside front corner of outbound buses, so I made use of it to get 485 although that wasn’t one I actually needed. It made a nice change from all the offside pictures I’d taken of the buses beginning their city-bound journeys.
