CA: Ara ja no és habitual veure estacionats 449 al costat de la icònica torre de l'enclavament de Reus. No obstant, fa alguns mesos sempre s'hi podia veure alguna unitat fent temps a la seva ombra.

After a morning spent in Lowell and a nice little chase of Q427 down Pan Am's Worcester mainline I was out of ideas of what to do. Having plans later in the evening I didn't want to strike off to far. Adding to that it was lunch time so I figured what the heck, Palmer is on the way home from Worcester to Providence right?!
A nice relaxing visit at the Steaming Tender and a warm lunch on a cold day were just the ticket. CSXT's action was long done for the day but NECR 603 was moving back and forth across the diamond and then shoved down to CSXT's interchange yard just as Amtrak 449, the Boston section of the Lakeshore Limited was heading west. NECR 3477 is a rebuilt SD40-2 that was originally built as a straight SD40 in Apr. 1966 as UP 3028.

Loaded tank car train rolls with one of the Bobó's of Bobó Kft. The loco was formerly owned by the Steelworks of Ózd as A25 018. The train was departed from the Chemical Indrusty of Sajóbábony and was further hauled by an electric lococmotive of MMV from Sajóecseg towards Western Hungary.
