Morning all, kinda lame shot today. Didn't do much yesterday, rubbish weather.
Made some brownies, they've pretty much all gone now too... always undercook them for extra delicious gooeyness!
I did find a charity shop with loadsa camera stuff in yesterday though and came home with a £1 flash bracket/bar which I have adapted into a makeshift panorama head, when the weather improves i'll get out with it. Perhaps somewhere in London.
I do enjoy using the 50mm wide open. Its just so pleasant!

Five snow days in North Texas in the last week and this is the FIRST shot of a snowflake-like object I have been able to capture. Luckily, I spotted this on a windshield as I was leaving this morning. And because this was on a windshield, I got this lovely gradation effect after I adjusted the levels.
The Naming of Parts
Henry Reed (1914-1986)
Today we have naming of parts. Yesterday,
We had daily cleaning. And tomorrow morning,
We shall have what to do after firing. But today,
Today we have naming of parts. Japonica
Glistens likecoral in all the neighboring gardens,
And today we have naming of parts.
This is the lower sling swivel. And this
Is the upper sling swivel, whose use you will see,
When you are given your slings. And this is the piling swivel,
Which in your case you have not got. The branches
Hold in the gardens their silent, eloquent gestures,
Which in our case we have not got.
This is the safety-catch, which is always released
With an easy flick of the thumb. And please do not let me
See anyone using his finger. You can do it quite easy
If you have any strength in your thumb. The blossoms
Are fragile and motionless, never letting anyone see
Any of them using their finger.
