Eccoci al giro di boa :)) Si dice che la vita inizi da qui...
Qualcuno mi ha scritto che festeggiare i 40 anni oggi col mondo che cambia non é male!
In realtà il mio mondo é già cambiato quest'anno e il regalo che la vita mi ha fatto supera ogni aspettativa!!!
Vi ringrazio per gli auguri e le belle parole che mi avete scritto:
Siete tutti straordinari e con un anima particolare.
Il fatto stesso che siate qui, su Flickr, lo dimostra.
Sono in rete da molti anni (mi pare era il 1995) e ho conosciuto molte persone, alcune delle quali sono diventate cari amici,
ma non mi sarei aspettato tanto quando ho attivato un account per mettere le foto di Enrico ormai quasi un anno fa!
Siete tanti e tutti fantastici e i vostri commenti spesso portano una ventata di allegria e di buonumore anche nelle giornate complicate

I surf the net for many years (I think it was 1995) and
I met many people, some of which are became dear friends,
but I would not aspect so when I activated an account to
put photos of Enrico almost a year ago!
You are so many, fantastic and all and your comments
often lead a wave of joy and good humor
even on complicated days

The Tramway Museum Society’s former Blackpool Corporation Tramways 40, a Blackpool Corporation ‘Standard’ tram with McGuire Manufacturing Company Limited equal wheel bogies, two The British Thomson-Houston Company Limited B265C 35 horsepower motors and The British Thomson-Houston Company Limited B510X controllers with a Blackpool Corporation H46/32R body built 1926 at the National Tramway Museum at Crich. Sunday 26th August 1984
Note, 40 was originally operated by Blackpool Corporation as number 40 and was withdrawn from use on 12th January 1963. It was donated to Tramway Museum Society and arrived at Crich in October 1963

On this day it has been 40 years since we met and since we are together (and yes, we are together since day 1 we met ...) Here's to a wonderful wife and mother.
Somehow, we did not really find a proper way to celebrate this yet....
Alfred is #40 in my 100 Strangers project. I met this morning as he waited for the trolley to take him to work. I asked him for his photograph and he wished me a Happy Fathers' Day. He works on the edge of Buffalo for a church. "Whatever puts a dollar in my pocket" is what motivates him to work on a Sunday morning. So my Commercial 1 teacher Doug let me check out a 5D Mark ii from the school for this shoot. As you can imagine i was absolutely THRILLED! I can't wait to own one. Its truly an amazing camera. This is most likely my second favorite shot from this evening. Its pretty much what i had envisioned in my mind.

Powells Dennis Dart SLF/Alexander ALX200 P806NJN (40) seen as it trundles down the lane into Clifton on the afternoon 552 from Thomas Wharton College to Tickhill via Braithwell and Micklebring.
This bus was purchased by Powells around a year ago having been new to Stagecoach East London in March 1997 and subsequently operated in the Midlands area. It hasn't been given a proper repaint and carries a perverse bastardisation of its former operator's livery.
