I've sweetened my tongue
And I've sharpened my words and my wit
And I've written my lines

40 - Tanger-Assilah
I am very happy that I was able to see a handful of Moroccan trucks last year - cars, on the other hand, eluded me. In 2022, I have not yet managed a sighting - I hope that this will change in the next few weeks and maybe there will even be a car again in the summer months.
Seen in Leipzig, about 2900km from home.
She just grabbed my attention with her pizazz. I could have never pulled off this coolness vibe.

AS11-40-5927 (20 July 1969) --- Astronaut Edwin E. Aldrin Jr., lunar module pilot, prepares to deploy the Early Apollo Scientific Experiments Package (EASEP) during the Apollo 11 lunar surface extravehicular activity (EVA). Astronaut Neil A. Armstrong, commander, took this picture with a 70mm lunar surface camera. During flight the EASEP is stowed in the Lunar Module's (LM) scientific equipment bay at the left year quadrant of the descent stage looking forward. Aldrin is removing the EASEP from its stowed position.
Another Ex Birkenhead PD2/40 , this time from 1962 and in a very plain livery - also with black painted radiator - a far cry from the vehicle's original smart blue & cream! In Liverpool near Lime Street on 29/3/75.

Lotte (stranger 40)
On my walk through the reed countries between Maasland and Vlaardingen I met Lotte. She approached the narrow path along the Vlaardingervaart with a pair of scissors and a large basket. What will she do ?, I wondered. Curious as I am, I spoke to her and asked what she is doing. She said that she has a small sheep meadow next to the canal. This year she has two sheep and three lambs. Thistles all grow in the meadow. “Beautiful flowers and good for the butterflies, but I don't want to have too much of it. That is why I cut the spent buds off and throw them away. That's how I keep it a bit under control ”.
I was allowed to take a picture of her (and in the meantime her cat was watching us). The photo was also allowed on the internet; but she did not want to tell her name there, she is not allowed on the internet. That's why I call her Lotte (one of the most common names in the area).
This is the 40th photo of my second round of the # 100stangers project.
