I spent a ridiculous amount of time yesterday making a felt banner for the boy's room. If only I weren't such a perfectionist.

Holy smokes, this sauce is so good. We used some of our own Polish Linguisa tomatoes, and our own garlic (and a farmshare onion and -- ew -- grocery store rosemary), and it was just insanely good. Of course, our tomatoes were maybe a hair not fleshy enough, but thank goodness for our failed "roast the living crap out of tomatoes and then puree them into paste" experiment yesterday, so we had plenty of super-thick tomato sauce in the fridge to punch this up a bit. Either way, though, this is something we promise to make three or four times more before fresh tomato season is over. SO FREAKING GOOD.
