More photo dumping!
Yesterday (2/16) I was at the World Cafe Live in Philadelphia to see the daughter of a friend of mine sing with her band and decided to step outside a bit to stretch my legs. I was greeted with a lovely view of Penn's new athletic field and the lacrosse team illuminated by the soft glow of floodlights piercing a damp evening mist.
How far behind am I? I can't count...

Shot on iPhone 6.
No real photo time today. Shot this of walkers going up the Story Bridge as Gizmo and I were walking across it.
Done and dusted. Moving on.
Reading this again the title made me think of zombies in The Walking Dead. As far as I know, none of the people featuring in this photo are zombies - although I couldn't be definitive on that.

Blinks is a legend. Through significant effort on his part he has managed to get the Maroubra Body Boarders club up and running. It keeps the kids active he said. He's the kind of community minded citizen we need more of. Blinks said that his next project was a community tennis club.
"I wanted to take my daughter to tennis today but I didn't have money for the break fluid so she'll miss out." He laughed. "Next week eh".
Yak-38 Forger - The Yakovlev Yak-38 (Russian: Як-38, NATO reporting name: Forger) was Soviet Naval Aviation's first and only operational VTOL strike fighter aircraft, in addition to being its first operational carrier-based fixed-wing aircraft. It was developed specifically for and served almost exclusively on the Kiev-class aircraft carriers.

...Nobody can look at a penguin and be angry at the same time.
No reason for Kurt to be a penguin, only a little fun today. This day was to recover, after Kurt took fourth place on the country championship in tracking yesterday.

Went out tonight and got home late...it was a hot day as expected. We have moved the matress out to the lounge room where the air conditioner is and just lay about most of the day. this evening went out with some new friends...it is basically a kind of travel club. We first went away with them when we went to New Zealand last year and are hoping to do some more trips with them...maybe Cairns later in the year. A couple of them are going on a two week tour to China and i would love to go but I dont think it is going to be possible with the kids...we will see. Anyway...hung the washing out at 11:30pm tonight. Oh, dam, I just realised this is late. I think I took it in time but may have posted it late...that still counts I think. 365 - so far, so good!

I think my body is lacking some vitamins, I can kill for fruits and veggies these days. I'm going to do a late winter detox maybe.( Though I'm sure the minute I'll start to take it seriously I'll also start to hate the fruits and fail, that's just how my nature is lol)

meal planning. i have developed a craft of meal planning... gather all needed supplies {cookbooks, paper, pen, planner}, record what you already have {in the pantry, hidden in the freezer, growing old in the fridge}, decide how much money you have to spend & get to lookin' at all of those cookbooks. i personally stick with two, but you know... that isn't for everyone.
a little note: i'm always a little less frugal as the weekend approaches. i don't want to be the sad cat sitting at home on a friday or saturday night eating leftover rice & beans. so this friday- salmon it is! woo hoo!
