The moon was lower in the sky so it has more of a yellowish tint to it. Last moon photo for a while, and not a bad one to end on.

Not quite the supermoon, but I got some really good detail of the craters on the right side here.

Lunch, a white pizza with chicken, cheese, garlic, mushrooms, and spinach.

It's in there. Trust me.

Today was pretty overcast all day, hot (31C) and damaging northerly winds. So every one was hanging out for a cool change,, It didn't arrive till after dark, but a nice relief.

Did a bit of baking this afternoon.

I've found it really hard to find any inspiration or enthusiasm this week - hope it passes soon!

4/6/2012.

Was going to hit the water for a couple of hours when a some people at the park wanted to show their kids my boat. I agreed, providing I could take their photo of course! early evening light and getting lucky with the angle made this one work really well.

Just a quickie - the children were desperate to put up the decorations tonight - I protested but gave in. Still, it's done now! Can get on with the wrapping next. Sigh.

The Venus-Jupiter-Moon conjunction happens about once a year, so I decided to get up before dawn and try to get a decent shot. I'm really pleased with this one. Jupiter is the bright object above the moon, and Venus in the bright one at the bottom of the sky just above the trees. Also, you can see the slightly orange star Aldebaran just above and to the right of Venus. It is the eye of the constellation Taurus.

I'm also happy to get some earthshine as part of the moon. Light is reflected from the Earth to the Moon and back to the Earth as earthshine.

It's been a while for a SOOC (straight out of camera) image to make an appearance for the POD, so here you are a treat for your eyes! Also the 35mm f2 AI-S is as lens I don't use as much as I used to. Ever since it began having issues a few months back with the aperture closing down to f2, I resorted to using my 50mm for more shots. Cheers to more photos with the 35mm!

It's time for a garden tidy-up!

Determined not to have another evening looking round the house for something to photograph so popped straight into the garden after work while there was still just a little light.

Name tags - the necessary evil!

Well, here we are. It's done. Thank goodness! I'm dedicating this last shot to the 3 people who have put up with me during the last 366 days. Thank you Immi and Tobes for being willing subjects and taking an interest in what I was doing (sorry you are out of focus Toby!) Thank you Simon for bearing with me while I dragged you all out to places so I could get a photo, and then when I spent hours at the computer uploading, editing and looking at everyone else's images. And thank you too for my beautiful new camera!! Love you all xx

I'm very surprised with myself for finishing this - I'm not good at completing things normally!! I'm really pleased that I did though. I'm now on the look out for some weekly challenges rather than daily so hopefully I will stay in contact with all of you lovely flickr people. Thanks so much for commenting and encouraging daily - it helped so much that you were out there!! Anyway, I wish everyone a truly Happy New Year and I look forward so much to seeing everyone's images over the next year!

Getting desperate again!

Last minute again. Busy day at work then we went to watch Nativity 2 last night - it's ok but not as good as the first one
