Here it is: The Col. Sanders Tie Tack.

My Dad wore this on all his Col Sanders ties while he worked at KFC as an engineer. Even Col Sanders himself appears to have been wearing one. How odd to wear a tiny figure of your own head on your tie.

And of course I marched with lots of Vassar student, professors, and alums (probably about 70-80) and we all wore Vassar shirts and carried a banner. It was awesome to see so many students attend. Some of us were even in this Buzzfeed article. www.buzzfeed.com/annmariealcantara/heres-why-people-parti... I also got quoted in our paper about the march. miscellanynews.org/2014/09/24/features/vassar-community-u...

Look what arrived in the mail today! Some gorgeous handspun yarn from my friend Jana!!! We are doing a handspun yarn exchange, and I couldn't be happier with this. Plus, since she's from Canada, she sent some Ruffles All Dressed chips (a slight cheat on my diet, but I think I'll at least have a few) :) Thanks, Jana!! Best. Mail. Day!!!

Drones are REAL!!!

And, we have one flying in our neighborhood.

And...it lives at our house :) I got this Parrot AR Drone quadricopter for William for Christmas a couple years ago. It's flown with an iPad, and it does indeed have an on-board camera, so you can record what it's "seeing." William loves this thing, and I have to admit, it is tons of fun and definitely a conversation-starter with our neighbors.

Saturday was a day of coffee and cake in Lincoln. I suppose Lincoln Cathedral would have been the obvious subject for the day's shot, but it was cold, windy and a tea shop beckoned. They served milk old school style!

於是也來到這個數量了呢。

去沖繩五天的照片就到這邊告一段落,接下來......是時候拍些新照片了。

Apparently, Martin Luther King owed Jabba the Hutt a debt.

In all seriousness, this was a very nice memorial. But, does MLK need to look *that* pissed? He couldn't be slightly cracking a smile? Instead of looking like he's going to swat you with a newspaper?

突然冒出媽媽稍微嫌惡的聲音,唸著:「騎快一點!快一點!」

我讓開路,她又改喊:「停下來!」「好了快騎!」

而後在尾端,目送他們母女遠去。
