thanks SU for painting this super fun teal wall in the science center

I pulled an all nighter with Ashley (the most amazing girlfriend in the world;D) to do a shoot at sunrise. My idea for this was originally sort've combining the idea of the grim reaper and a grave digger. Everything that could've gone wrong did...the sun wasn't visible because it was cloudy, the editing on this was a nightmare, and it turned out nothing like I had visioned:/ Not happy with it at all...but there was no way I wasn't going to upload it after all of the trouble I've gone through.

*I really like to hear what people have to say about my work, critiques are very much welcomed...I'm here to grow, so i appreciate any type of comment.

would've made this into a gif but flickr sucks

Working on a strange photo assignment inspired by Plato's The Cave and the shadow of modern media.

Day 66 of 365.

This is, I believe, a wasp nest. I loved the abstract shadow it cast along the wall of my coworkers office.

Day 166 of 365

The eucalyptus trees by Lake Merritt are over a hundred-years old and have quite a bit of personality.

This is my day 3 for the Nature Photo challenge.

The idea is for each nominee to post a nature photo every day for 7 days, nominating a new person each day to do the same. In this spirit, I'm nominating Joyce Bernas-Yung to do the Nature Challenge.

The little model house has been in my possession since high school. It was for a school project. No idea why I still have it

A good sunset is two parts, perspective and being present.

Mike told me that he's shot "over 1000 sunsets," from Tenny Park over the years. Sadly the only social media he's on is Facebook, but I didn't get his last name to check out his work. He allowed me to take his picture, and thus a natural inclusion for the (608)strangers. I've been neglecting this project for too long, and hope to add more strangers this year! The 100 strangers group on Flickr is full of many more inspirational people doing stranger projects, much more active then I!

sorry this is just eh. But it's my last day here in Costa Rica :[ It went by so quickly. I feel like I got everything out of it though. I enjoyed the sunlight and the heat, but not the bugs haha. But anyway, home sweet home tomorrow. Bitter sweet I guess. I miss my bed.

In a rare occurrence, the sun actually peeped out from behind the clouds. This scene felt kind of apocalyptic with the tractor, the sun, clouds and the mowed-down feel of the landscape...
