290 of 365 - Flower Power - at the moment there is only one large bloom on this plant - it looks like another bud is developing - such a pretty flower :-)
Uh oh! You know what tomorrow is! It's been a while since I've done something on Valentine's Day, and this year, I'm feeling like Romeo.
A couple of weeks back, I took only film downtown and happened to take a handful of really awesome photos. Unfortunately, I had not advanced the film all the way so the pictures only existed in the realm of my mind. One of them was a cyclist on State Street, with awesome shades hunched over on his bike after a hard ride.
Fast forward to present day where I just so happened to be out snapping pictures while out on a lake loop, and I came across this fellow with cool shades resting. He complimented me on my bike and I back at him, and I told him I liked his look and asked "can I take your picture?" He gave a big smile and said, "Yes but I feel we've had this conversation before." Sure enough, he remembered me snapping his picture two weeks previous. Madison is such a small world and cycling seems to bring things full circle more times then not for me.
As we had more time today and I wasn't shooting film, I learned that Mauricio only recently took up cycling in the last few years for mental health and physical fitness. Hailing from Costa Rica he's still getting used to winter. Allowing him to recapture him, I have included him in my (608)strangers project as well as the 100 strangers group here on Flickr. While I took his picture before that was just a random snap that never got to see the light of day. This just goes to show you that you never know who you may cross paths with and remember to keep!
I ordered a set of ink cartridges for my printer. Unfortunately an error was made when packaging. All the colours are present but most in black packets! Very confusing!
I LOVE shopping, especially for crafts! (Today was shopping for fabrics to use for newborn photography)!
This is unedited because every time I tried to edit it, I kept falling asleep…like I’m doing as I type this.
Day 141 of 365.
The power went out in our building and the fire department came by to turn off the alarm.

Work: "Can you come in early today, we're super busy!"
Me: "My car won't start"
The end.
Based on a true story. Basically my day in a nut shell. I had over 250 people come though my till today. It was so busy. But I'm glad everyone was really happy and it was a joy to have a bit of chat with some strangers. Good weather seems to bring out the best in people.
In other news I feel like it's been some time since I've done something gross like this. I mean gross in a good way of course. Just one of those good old photos that make you thing and question what you're looking at. Sorry in advance if it give you nightmares. Not much I can do about that :p
