'Twin-cam' was the nick-name for the Sunbeam Super Sport range of cars, built between 1925-30, although almost all road-going models were built in 1926, the rest being racing cars. With their twin cams, twin carbs, four-wheel brakes and eight-bearing crankshaft they could cruise at 80mph and top out at over 90mph. Some were fitted with a supercharger developing over 138bhp.

The 1967-72 FD Victor got the 'Coke Bottle Styling', available in 4 door sedan or 5 door estate. The suspension was quite sophisticated for its time, with a live axle located by trailing arms and a Panhard rod and sprung on coil springs and a double wishbone front suspension assembly.
The Victor was available in either 1600, 2000 or VX4/90 with 4 cyl engines.
Introduced in 1968, was the Ventora version, it got the 123hp 3300cc 6 cyl from the Cresta. It also got a rev counter, vinyl roof and a slightly different grille.
1970 saw a facelift, the 1600 now the Super, the 2000, the 2000SL
The FD Victor was also assembled in New Zealand, the last Victor to be sold there. As well as the 1600 and 2000 4 cyl, the 6 cyl was the Victor 3300, later 3300SL rather than the Ventora.

The LH Torana was built from March 1974-Feb 1976, a longer and wider car than the LJ it replaced, available with not only 4 and 6 cylinder engines, but a V8 as well. All LH Toranas were 4 door sedans, generally with rectangular headlights (only the L34 had round headlights)
4 cylinder cars got the 1900cc Opel engine, available in base S or upspec SL. The grille on 4 cyl cars was segmented into 4 parts, (6cyl and V8s had a one piece rectangular grille)
6 cylinder cars were the S and SL with 2850cc and the SL/R 3300.
V8s were SL/R 4200 or SL/R 5000 (also limited L34 version)
Two limited edition models of the LH were built; The 1974 Plus 4 was an attempt to move a few more of the slow-selling four-cylinder models. And the 1975 G-pak; 3300cc six. Both came with a four-speed manual, sporting instrumentation, and disc brakes in front.
