CN 310 heads east through Beaconsfield with ex-GECX unit CN 3122 leading. In the far distance CP 118 is seen, with CP 8757 leading. Since this photo was taken, CN 322 has replaced CN 310 (yet again).

Today we got to go on a back stage tour of the Denver Center for the Performing Arts. The assortment of objects you can find in a props department is quite amazing.

im silently panicking as i dont know what tomorrow will hold for me. i dont think i will be able to sleep much tonight. the only thing i know and care about is that i will get to meet my future, my son. wish us luck!

i love this nightgown. when i was a little girl, i wore nightgowns until i was about 9. then i became a tomboy and stopped wearing them, and even though i grew out of tomboyness, up until this year i wore boxer shorts and tshirts to sleep. now i'm having a renaissance of nightgowns. bought quite a few of them -- but this one is my favorite; it makes me feel like a princess. some things you never grow out of :)
i also enjoy those twinkly flower lights. i bought them at an interior design store here in the mission and i keep them in a vase on my dresser.
last night, i drank too much chilean wine and ate too many cheese empanadas. mmm the flakiest and most delicious i've ever had. tonight, i'm having a cocktail party (my first in san francisco!) and game night (apples to apples!) with some close friends. i love being a hostess.

p.s. thanks for the lovely words on yesterday's photo. i'm not really sad, but i woke up in a grumpy state and enjoyed posing as a moody emaciated model. i do look very sad in the photo. or, forlorn. but i'm feeling fine.
