Santa Fe eastbound #16 "Texas Chief" arrives behind A-A-B-B-B set of F-units (310....) I remember seeing - and riding - long long summertime versions of this train, but they were all single level coaches. I recall that the "ElCap" and the "SanFran Chief" needed all the hi-level coaches in summer.

A top view of NS 2026 leading train 310 at Gibson, NY on August 17, 2026. I wanted a down on view of 2026 and drove over to Gibson when they got done working Gang Mills. The weeds were very tall around the bridge and the best I could do was a view that I needed to crop down to take out all of the foreground weeds. Maybe I should have done the parking garage in Elmira instead.

White-Tailed Deer (female).
From between 27 to 45 inches tall and 6 to 7 feet long and weighing 150-310 pounds (male) and 90 to 211 pounds (female). Tan or reddish brown in summer and graying brown in winter. Belly, throat, nose band, eye ring and inside of ears are white. Tail brown and edged with white above often with a dark stripe down the center and white below. Black spots on side of chin. Buck's antlers can spread to 3 feet. Does rarely have antlers. Fawns are spotted.
The White-Tailed Deer inhabits farmlands, brushy areas, woods, suburbs and gardens.
They range throughtout the southern half of the southern tier of Canadian provinces and through most of the United States except for the Southwest.

I like this engine a lot. Blue is my favorite color, and the NS 2026 looks good in blue with Lady Liberty. Here it leads train 310 in the Canisteo Valley on the East side of Canisteo, NY on August 17, 2026.
