11.03.2023 ||Paczków|| TEM2-310 oczekuje na odjazd z ładownym składem kruszywa do stacji Kamieniec Ząbkowicki. Na popychu znajduje się BR232-561.
Tego dnia pogoda nie sprzyjała robieniu zdjęć. Jeszcze dzień wcześniej była piękna wiosna, kilkanaście stopni na plusie. Poranek przywitał nas na przemian śniegiem, deszczem, porywistym wiatrem i słońcem. Tego ostatniego było jednak najmniej. W Paczkowie słońce wyszło dosłownie na kilka minut, zanim kolejna śnieżyca przeszła nad okolicą. Udało się dzięki temu wykonać powyższe ujęcie z groźnie wyglądającym niebem.
Warto przytoczyć również historię widocznej na zdjęciu maszyny. TEM2-310 była ostatnią dostarczoną prosto z fabryki w Briańsku przedstawicielką tej serii w Polsce. W 1990 roku trafiła do KWK Staszic w Katowicach. Zdjęcie z czasu jej pracy na katowickiej kopalni znajdziemy w książce "Naturalna Kolej Rzeczy. Cztery dekady PTKiGK S.A. z Rybnika" autorstwa nieżyjącego już Władysława Chrapka. Autorem historycznej fotografii jest Wojtek Szpigiel z @Kolej wczoraj i dziś. W 2003 roku lokomotywa została sprzedana do nowopowstałej spółki Lotos Kolej, gdzie otrzymała oznaczenie SM48-310. 16 czerwca 2009 roku podczas naprawy głównej w NEWAG Nowy Sącz maszyna otrzymała wózki od lokomotywy M62. Kolejna zmiana własnościowa nastąpiła w 2011 roku. Lokomotywę odkupiło PHU Lokomotiv. W 2017 roku maszyna została zakupiona przez DEPOL. Przy okazji ponownie otrzymała pierwotne oznaczenie TEM2-310. Ostatnia zmiana właściciela nastąpiła w 2021 roku. Od tego czasu lokomotywa należy do firmy Żwirownia Beton Dolata.

CN 310 has IC 2721 & CN 3887 for power as it crosses over from the North Track to the Freight Track. A bit further ahead it will back up to the Transfer Track to set off cars bound for Joffre. CN 400 will pick them up later that day.

NS heritage unit N&W 8103 leads train 310 across the ugly arch bridge in Letchworth State Park in Portageville, NY on May 9, 2020. Photo angles around the bridge suck with all the deer fencing they put up around the ends to protect all the trees they planted to restore the "forest". Funny thing is that 40 years ago this was all wide open, so what would have been wrong with leaving it open. The vegetation would take over on its own soon enough.
