PMT Leyland Swift PMT Knype 310 F310REH seen in Crewe Bus Station.
The Swift was Leylands attempt to bake into the midi bus market early & PMT under management ownership took a few examples and bodied them with there own bodywork.
I Cant recall wether any surveved to obtain First National Numbers.

O meu bisavó, Manuel Castro Silva, era mecánico. Esta foto tomouse a finais dos anos coarenta na fronteira alemá. El foi a montar un motor para un camión Hispano-Suízo e traelo de volta a Ourense.
Manuel naceu no ano 1906 na Gudiña- Os seus pais tiñan pousada con posta de cabalos para as dilixencias de viaxeiros que alí paraban.

Fotos diarias, durante los 365 que tiene este año 2014. Algunas hechas con el móvil y otras con la reflex ;)
Aunque empecé con fotos del día a día en su mayoría por la calle, he incorporado al proyecto a un muñeco articulado que le puse de nombre "OLPHITO"

Hace mucho tiempo que no cuelgo fotos por aqui, por motivos personales... Pero hoy me he decidido ir hasta Montcada Bifurcación a pillar este 310, concretamente el 310-017 que ahora esta asignado aqui. La foto a sido bastante dificil de hacer ya que no habia posibilidad de entrar en ese recinto para hacer una foto medio decente, despues de un buen rato buscando alguna zona donde fotografiar, me he fijado en unos pales que habian en la balla apollados y al retirarlos habia un agujero por el cual he entrado.

13 December 1943: Arrived Halifax, Nova Scotia to beginning work-up exercises in St. Margaret’s Bay, Nova Scotia
17 February 1944: She left St. John’s, Newfoundland to join Escort Group 6, Londonderry, Northern Ireland.
Served mainly on escort and patrol duties in British waters. She was present on D-Day.
30 November 1944: Left the United Kingdom on 30 November for refit at Sydney, Nova Scotia.
20 August 1945: Refit completed.
5 November 1945: Paid off on 5 November and sold to Marine Industries Ltd.
Later reacquired by the Royal Canadian Navy and converted to a Prestonian Class ocean escort
2 September 1955: Re-commissioned and served in a training role.
7 June 1965: Paid off.
1966: Broken up at La Spezia, Italy

November 6, 2015: 310/365 (2867/2992)- Thank God It’s Family & Furry & Friday! After a long week at work for all of us it’s nice to have the family together for dinner. We planned to really cook but by the time we all got home it was easier to get pizza. While catching up with each other we were having some “adult” coffee for dessert and giving me time to share a little bonding time with my golden girls.
310 steps down, 310 steps up. Worth the effort!
