I signed up for the fall CSA at the farm I cooked at on Friday's all summer. This is box number 3 which contained collards, butternut squash, spinach, shallots, carrots, garlic, turnips, beets, salad turnips, sweet potatoes, red cabbage, potatoes, beets, onions, brussels sprouts and beauty heart radishes. Whew! That's a lot of stuff.
in the employee parking lot of mcgavin bakery on eastern ave...i've taken a few photos of this in the past but todays turned out the best...this mural, made up of panels, is probably 100 ft long...and, the grey colour is actually silver paint with possible exception of the skull...on the way by this evening i did notice this is the only panel that is silver...
We were in Tokaj last week with my class on a forest camp, and one day we decided to go to the top of the local hill. We told our teachers that the weather forecast says there'll be a storm, but they did not believe us. It eventually did rain and we got soaking wet, but after coming down again, this was what I saw. The clouds are not edited, it was just like this in real life. Stunning, right?
Some light at the end of a not so good day, nearly stayed in, glad I made the effort!

I've been saying for ages that I've never seen one of these spiders even though I know they live in Perth. I found this teeny one on my mulberry tree. Of course it was blowing a gale, it always is when you get the macro out. I asked my husband to hold the leaf for me but still not optimal conditions. Oh well, it's another photo done.
Rode my bike to the polls, saw a bit of blue in the sky so I decided to ride to work as well. Cold ride, but so worth it!
