In 10 years I will be 33. It will be 2018. And hopefully I will have accomplished
learning how to ride a bike!!
Because I was a fearful, impatient, and clumsy child, I gave up trying to learn how to ride a bike very soon after I started. Plus, my brother chased me on HIS bike all the time and even RAN over me once. We joke and laugh about this now, but at the time I was TERRIFIED of bikes. I think it's pathetic I never learned, and every time I see someone on a bike (and now that I'm in the Blacksburg area with 23048320984 students who ride that's 320948 TIMES A DAY), I get so jealous. I'm hoping to do this one sooner than later.

Day 3 in Diabaig - dry enough to tempt us to stroll along the pebble beach….. resulting in lots of photos of the rusting wreck, oyster catchers, seaweed and stones, rocks and flowers. A lovely sunny afternoon brought the sheep down the road, and tempted us into dining al fresco in the evening, with an aperitif of Northern Light beer from the Orkney Brewery and wrapped up with another visit to the pier and harbour.

The 3rd round of the Mullingar Road League 2012. This 5km race was held on 16th May 2012 at 8PM. There was a huge attendance at the race. The weather was a little better than previous nights with a soft shower of rain on an otherwise warm evening. This was race number 3 in the series effectively marking half way in the 5 race series.
The Mullingar Harriers athletic club organise this league of races every May for the promotion of participation in sport and physical activity and to honour the memory of Pat Finnerty, a former Chairman of the Harriers who gave enormous service to Mullingar Harriers and athletics over many years. The Road League caters for runners, joggers and walkers of all ages and abilities.
The Road League is run on traffic free roads and trails in Belvedere House and Gardens and Park just outside Mullingar on the Tullamore Road. Belvedere House is situated in 160 acres of lakeside parkland on the shores of Lough Ennell.
This is a collection of photographs taken by Peter Mooney and family. Unfortunately poor lighting conditions and some camera issues mean that we have a little less photographs than normal.

View within the pedestrian tunnels along the lower Aare Gorge.
The Haslital, one of the large valleys in the central alps, stretches from the Grimsel Pass to the Lake of Brienz in the Bernese Oberland. The flat valley floor of the lower Haslital is separated from the upper valley by a transverse rock formation. Over thousands of years, the Aare River eroded a path through this limestone rock formation resulting in a gorge which is 1,400 metres long and up to 200 metres deep.
The gorge varies in width from some 30 metres (98 ft) at its widest to just 1 metre (3 ft 3 in) at its narrowest.
This gorge has been accessible for over 100 years by a system of safe paths and tunnels.
Tsuga canadensis 'Jervis' (Port Jervis, NJ 1956) 2019 photo - Common Name: Canadian Hemlock, Size at 10 years: 3x2ft., Dark Green, USDA Hardiness Zone 3, In Garden Bed HR-N for 25.8 YEARS (HLG). Planted in 1994.
Iseli Nursery: Tsuga canadensis ‘Jervis’ features tight, dark green foliage and a densely branched, broad pyramidal habit. ‘Jervis’ will grow slowly in your garden in an irregular form making it an interesting focal point that will not outgrow its place. The prominent buds and short twiggy growth make this a unique plant, adding year round interest to any garden.
ACS: This cultivar originated as a seedling selected in 1956 by G.G. Nearing of Ramsey, New Jersey. The original plant was a natural mutated plant that Nearing found near Port Jervis, New Jersey. It was originally introduced two names, 'Jervis' and 'Nearing.' The former proving to be more popular in the nursery trade and as such, became the established cultivar name.

Students learned more about one of the many displays at the Viterbo Community Health Fair April 3 in the Mathy Center.
