"Tricholoma sulphureum, also known as sulphur knight or gas agaric, is an inedible or mildly poisonous mushroom found in woodlands in Europe. It has a distinctive bright yellow colour and an unusual smell likened to coal gas. It occurs in deciduous woodlands in Europe from spring to autumn.
It has a convex cap with a vague umbo up to 8 cm (3 in) across, sulphur yellow in colour. The thick, sinuate gills, stipe and flesh are similarly bright yellow. The smell, caused by the chemical skatole, is enough to distinguish it from other yellow fungi. John Ramsbottom reports that it has a complex smell that has been likened variously to Jasmine, Narcissus, Hyacinth, Hemerocallis flava, Lilac, Tagetes, decayed hemp or coal gas, as well as described as nauseating or foetid. The taste is bitter.
Tricholoma sulphureum is found in deciduous woods, particularly beech, and can occur anytime from spring until autumn. It is found across Europe and has been confirmed as far east as China. It is also distributed in North America, where it grows also with conifers. It is commonly known as the "Stinker" or "Sulfur Trich". In Turkey, it is considered critically endangered. - WiKi
"De narcisridderzwam is een fraaie, kleine tot middelgrote paddenstoel die in nauwe samenwerking (ectomycorrhiza) leeft met verschillende boomsoorten - vooral eiken en beuken, in zeldzame gevallen ook met hazelaars en met coniferen. De zwam heeft een voorkeur voor bomen die minstens enkele tientallen jaren oud maar nog wel vitaal zijn - bij zeer oude en verzwakte bomen neemt het aantal vruchtlichamen weer af. Hij groeit dikwijls in de berm van met eiken of beuken beplante wegen, op zandig-lemige bodems. De narcisridderzwam is een voorbeeld van een paddenstoel die sinds de jaren zeventig van de vorige eeuw aanzienlijk zeldzamer is geworden.
Narcisridderzwammen verspreiden een onaangename geur, die aan aardgas doet denken en zijn giftig.
De soortnaam sulphureum betekent "zwavelgeel". De genusnaam Tricholoma is afgeleid van twee Griekse woorden en betekent "met harige rand". The white-bellied woodstar is about 8.5 cm (3.3 in) long. The male's gorget is iridescent reddish violet. The female is bronzy green above and the flanks tawny. The central feathers are green and the others cinnamon.
The American bushtit inhabits mixed open woodlands, often containing oaks and a scrubby chaparral understory ; it also inhabits parks and gardens. Ce soir je vous présente un petit oiseau qui bouge 2 à 3 fois plus que nos Grimpereaux brun. Sans plus d'éclats et anonyme dans son environnement, mesurant 11cm / 4.5 pouce pas vraiment plus gros qu'un oiseau mouche. Je l'avais observé l'année passée mais pas vraiment bien capté pour le présenter comme un Lifer... J'ai je crois eu la chance de capter les deux espèce le même soir et dans le Golden Hours... Les voici.

Tonight I present you a little bird that moves 2 to 3 times more than our Brown Creepers. Without being so obvious in is environment and blending in perfectly, measuring 11cm / 4.5 inch not really bigger than a hummingbird. I had seen it last year but not really made a good captured to present it as a Lifer ... I think I had the chance to capture both species the same evening and in the Golden Hours ... Here they are.

Lilium martagon, the martagon lily or Turk's cap lily, is a Eurasian species of lily. It has a widespread native region extending from Portugal east through Europe and Asia as far east as Mongolia.
Horticulturally it is in Division IX (true species). It is stem-rooting, growing between 1 metre (3 ft 3 in) and 2 metres (6 ft 7 in) tall. The flower colour is typically a pink-purple, with dark spots, but is quite variable, extending from near white to near black. The flowers are scented. Numerous flowers are borne on each plant, and up to 50 can be found on vigorous plants. The green stems can be flushed with purple or red and the leaves are elliptic to inverse lanceolate, mostly in whorls, up to 16 centimetres (6.3 in) long and often lightly hairy underneath.
This plant has gained the Royal Horticultural Society's Award of Garden Merit.
Lilium martagon was used in hybridising with L. hansonii at the end of the 19th century by Mrs RO Backhouse of Hereford, England.
The name Turk's cap lily, also applied to a number of other species, comes from the characteristic reflexed shape of the petals. The specific epithet martagon is a Turkish word which also means turban or cap.
Lilium martagon, like many in the genus, is highly toxic to cats and ingestion often leads to fatal kidney failure; households and gardens which are visited by cats are strongly advised against keeping this plant or placing dried flowers where a cat may brush against them and become dusted with pollen which they then consume while cleaning. Suspected cases require urgent veterinary attention.Rapid treatment with activated charcoal and/or induced vomiting can reduce the amount of toxin absorbed (this is time-sensitive so in some cases vets may advise doing it at home), and large amounts of fluid by IV can reduce damage to kidneys to increase the chances of survival.

It is a charming hybrid between Campsis radicals (American Trumpet Vine) and Campsis grandiflora (Chinese Trumpet Vine).
It produces trumpet-shaped, orange to red flowers up to 3 in (8 cm) long that appear in loose clusters of 6 to 12. It is a woody, clinging, perennial vine that attaches itself to structures and climbs vigorously with aerial roots like those of ivy. It bears dark-green deciduous leaves, 8–12 in (20–30 cm) long. Its flowers are very attractive to bees, butterflies and birds.

For shits and giggles I took 3 different versions of the same photo... not too sure which is my favourite!
Another from this chase of a northbound CN U710 train of empties for Minntac behind a mixed consist of rebuilt SD40-3 (in and SD40-2 body) IC 6254, C40-8 CN 2001 and rebuilt SD40-3 (in and SD45-T2 body) DMIR 402. They are crossing over the Clouquet River at MP 25.5 on modern day CN's North Division Missabe Sub mainline. The 440 ft long and 40 ft high Warren Deck Truss bridge with deck girder approaches was once double tracked and is actually two identical parallel structures, with the one the train is on dating from 1924 and the abandoned one in the foreground dating from 1907.
This is an area that needs no introduction to even the most casual fan as the Duluth, Missabe and Iron Range Railway is in a word legendary. I won't bore you with pages of history as I couldn't do the road or region justice anyway. It simply needs to be experienced for oneself. But I will direct you to two resources. On display at the Lobkowicz Palace in Prague is a first published edition (1806) of Beethoven's Eroica, as well as other Beethoven treasures including manuscripts of the 4th and 5th symphonies, featuring Beethoven's own corrections and annotations for performance.
