There were times the loss poured from my eyes. I was unable to speak - my mouth locked and my heart spinning around this empty hole in my heart ..... the healing continues maybe the rest of my life ....

My painting done in Tulum, Yucatan after spending time with a Mayan (Pablo) in the jungle learning about plants ....

My new Lamy pen- paper table cloth- tea- a quick sketch of Ellis Island NYC painted with my finger- tea - and my dessert.

I was very interested in seeing this Ellis island because my grandparents came in through there around 1878.. I could visualize them seeing it from the landing boat with wonder what was this new life going to unfold.

Lion on track for his dinner. Monotype done from my 6 months in Africa.

I built this stone turtle many years ago. On my last journey to this canyon rim the turtle had not move one inch. I decided to do this watercolor of him.

this is some of the hawk jewelry I designed after spending time at a raptor rehab center ..

The key to getting wounded and abused raptors back in the sky and hunting again was this hawk called "Ladyhawk" --- this hawk would never fly again because some person decided to send a bullet through her wing while she was free and soaring high in the sky. Now she is the hawk that prevents other wounded raptors not to get imprinted

during their healing and recovery ..... she is the healer hawk

I tried to create her soaring in silver

wedding present for Kim and Dan

this one is for dreaming of fish and water watched by geckos...

dreams so deep they can not be remembered .... in the warm climates these are the beds that when getting up in the night means a scorpian could be waiting for that bare foot to come down -- or the middle of the night attack by a big mosquito that plants its needle deep and long .... then a very big spider very easily climbs up to sleep under your arm ....

good night and good morning

The example for my 2D Art class' skeleton drawing assignment. We are learning the names of the major bones of the human body, and drawing the skeleton with an emphasis on proportions. I worked on this during my down time during parent-teacher conference nights.

The desert women called "Mamas" wear the most beautiful jewelry .....

the magical flight of the jabiru ( a large stork) flying over the dreaming site at Indjuwydjuwa .... jabiru's are really large - some standing 5 ft tall and the weight of 17 lbs ... they mainly eat fish from rivers and ponds ... this jabiru looked to me like a small airplane when I fist saw it ... the magic begins when in flight they stop pumping and start to coast ......

In 2014 I made this poster for my roller derby friend Charlotte.

My watercolor painting of Two Maya shaman on a vision canoe heading up to Sak Be (Milky Way) for a journey into the dark rift of the great cosmic mother. They will have an initaition when they get there. They will be heading back just before 12-21-2012 with some good news about what the "New Age" will be like.

A Location illustration I did for a potential background design for a short movie we did at TAW.

Eventually 2D backgrounds got rejected and we decided to go with 3D flat planes that are painted.
