Trying to get some more understanding of a complex subject with the limited equipment that I have, I have attached a white envelope over my flash with a hairband and tried the Sigma 105mm 2.8 at 1:1 at ISO 100-200, f/11-16 and 1/100s shutter speed. Also attached a 1.5x Kenko TC so I think I have a magnification of 1.5:1.

I know it's not what you would class a good picture but when I went to the beach to catch a sunrise I couldn't believe the dark cloud coming across. Got down low on the esplanade and shot the surf as it hit the wall which was a bit to close for comfort, Thought I would share anyway.

The first meal of Austin Mega Do 2.5. It started with salad (yea I know, where did the healthy come from). I went for chcken since I knew brisket was 24 hours away.
