Relax 2

A few pictures of Station 2 during my overtime shift on 3 unit. Station 2 was built in 2017 and covers the downtown area, and most of the german village. The old firehouse sat on this same plot of land and was built in 1962. This is also the station where FF John Nance was assigned, the night he was killed in 1987. Station 2’s motto is “Bulldogs”

Station 2 is located in Battalion 1 and Houses Engine, Ladder, and Medic 2, along with Battalion 1 and DART 2.

Behind this mini-mall, a cliff of the red Spearfish shale (TRPs) is topped by several feet of gravel (Tg) from a old stream channel. Rapid Creek cut down further into its bed, leaving behind a higher-level flat platform (terrace) capped by the older deposits.
