I realised I was running out of time to take the picture for the day, and walked into the bathroom, saw this, and grabbed my camera. I'm working nights again, which is good for me, but kind of weird for this project. I have been trying to get the picture during the day, as I can't take cameras to work, and don't want to leave the camera in the car. I'm sure it will all sort itself out.
Providence & Worcester WODA heads west down the Northeast Corridor on a pleasant night in mid-October 2023. Leading the way through the station siding at T.F. Green Airport towards Davisville was PW 2006, an EMD GP38-2 painted up in the original pre-G&W Providence & Worcester paint scheme. This was one of my final WODAs before moving out of Rhode Island, and 2006 was certainly a nice leader for that.

Longwood Daffodils 2. A couple of weekends ago the weather was far too windy, cold and rainy to even attempt to take photographs outside, so I headed to the conservatory at Longwood Gardens. I did not know that they were staging a major horticultiural exhibition and competition for daffaodils and related spec ies, There were hunders of different daffodils, narcissus, nowdrops, jonquils etc in the exhibtion area, including some extraordinary varieties with very unusual shapes and colors. Unfortunately the exhibition area was not laid out for photography and it was very very crowded so it was difficult to take photographs particularly of the exotic exhibits.
